Box opening issue

I have had a number of guests unable to open the lockbox door even though the code entered is correct and showing green. When the cleaner visits the next day it opens perfectly. I do not believe it’s user error, as I had 3 consecutive guests have the same issue. Would there be a time it’s inhibited or something we are unaware of?

More control needed away from lock

I can send a temporary code to a specific person for a specific time while away from the lock, but I don’t get to know what that code is. That guest’s name shows up under guest but again, I have no idea what their code is. Useless if guest has a problem. So if a guest is having difficulty with the lock, I can’t figure out if it is user error or lock error. I can also send a temporary code that is good for only 8 hrs. I can’t adjust that time period at all and can’t label it. I like to send emails with the printed code as many guests don’t like to use strange apps (especially older people). These parameters make it hard to send those codes. At least make the temporary code active for 12 or 24 hrs (or give us the choice) and allow us to attach a name to it. It should also show up in the guest list

Basics done well

It is easy to set up but the are a range of annoyances especially based on its premium price.

1) very limited number of access code spaces
2) Poor instruction manual - short on detail
3) Cannot allocate date / time restrictions to allocated codes
4 Does not show battery level so you can preempt any warning email
5) No idea what ‘locker mode’ is (refer 2)

It’s a solid product and I expect it is reliable but could be better supported with relevant information.

Good But Needs a Little More..

08/19/2022 update - To the development team: Any updates on a shorter than 8-hour window for temporary numeric codes? This request has been out there for several years by numerous reviewers. Also would like to see the ability to assign different temporary numeric codes during the same time/day interval to different people such that it can be discerned on the report which user opened the lock (other than just knowing that it was opened/accessed by someone, if more than one person needs access during that day/time period). Thanks!

****************************************** I have 5 of these locks, and love the concept, but I’m hoping that at some point unique numeric codes can be given to individuals, rather than the blanket codes that cover an 8-hour timeframe for anyone who accesses the lockbox during that time. I use the lockboxes mostly for short term access by plumbers, electricians, pool maintenance people, etc — and asking them to download the app for one-time access or short term access is unrealistic. I’ve used Igloo lockboxes as well - they have excellent software but the hardware is difficult for most people to figure out, and the hardware has been unreliable, so I’ve standardized on Master Lock lockboxes — just wish they could make this simple software change!!

Master lock vault home fail

What am I missing here? When I sign out of the application and then go to sign back in it wants to send me a code to my email. I enter in that code and then I am fully into the application and have unlimited access to all the combinations.
So here’s my question. Is it true that if somebody just simply tap “Sign in” on my phone, and it sends my email, a code which somebody will have access to if they’ve somehow gotten into my phone, then they enter in the access code and that’s it? No Face ID or no additional code that I have to enter? It’s super low security as far as I’m concerned.

Bel application et bel appareil, mais même si un invité a une date d’expiration passé son code d’accès reste valide et fonctionnel.

Rubbish app

The app won’t accept my master lock activation code and device id preventing me from using the lock. Send one lock back and given replacement but still won’t work. Don’t know what to do.

Cool but…

When I try to add the lock combo for a physical combination lock that you see generically in a school, I get a message saying that it’s invalid. I followed all of the instructions too, and tried multiple times to add a code, but nothing worked.
I could take a picture of the code, but that would defeat the purpose of this app. What do I do? Please let me know.
