New app same issues
Despite an app change and a firmware update, scheduling times and days is still borked.
Have contacted developer with logs on 2 occasions and nothing was done.
So at the moment, one of the most useful features of the router is actually not working.
Also please change the design language of the app to be more intuitive. At the moment it’s really hard to use !!Show lessM3th0sx
Disappointed
Really disappointed with this router. The screen time management which is the most important feature doesn’t allow you to set times for the internet to switch on and off. When you set a schedule it doesn’t work and it sets something random. I’ve spoken to tech support who just can’t grasp it. Could be a great product if it wasn’t for a glaringly obvious fault.Show lessPaulos_Muzza
Works great for me so far!
I downloaded this app and within 10 minutes had the router setup and firmware updated. Within 60 minutes I had added my wife as a second admin, created users for our whole family of 6, added all the devices in the house and set the security levels/hours for each user and device. Bonus... the Gryphon router is so much faster and has a much better signal strength than my old router. Every room in our quad-level home has a great connection. Impressive!Show lessTechRevRy
Parental feature needs improvement
The router and app have potential but the company needs to both test and invest much more to make it useful for parents.
Parental web history will not report which web sites were browsed by the child but rather all web sites accessed automatically by the device. This prevents the parent from knowing web time and sites visited by the child.
Web scheduling feature is very buggy. It changes the hours and user restrictions without parent action inappropriately and sometimes even loses device- user assignment. The need to frequently check and correct issues is time consuming and annoying .Show lesssleepsurgeon

Apps lots of time does not respond

Too much hype...not ready for prime time
I love the features that sold me on this router. We have owned the router and a repeater over a year now and have around 50-60 devices connected. The mesh framework has improved reception throughout our house and speed too. However the app leaves much to be desired. It is slow to adopt changes I make to the network, so are the other brands for these types of changes. However changes to the Gryphon regularly don’t take effect. Commands from the app regularly time out. Various bugs make the app reliable most of the time. Performance has really suffered since the end most recent update to this new app and the last two firmware update should. Our network has been on and off the last several days now. I’m strongly considering cutting my losses and going to a more established brand.
Update: Had to wipe and reset the router. It does not save anything on the profile you create in the app, so having to re-create everything from scratch. The app keeps having a hard time. I get constant notifications “Too many requests” or “Request timed out.”Show lesslarybirtk
