Do not waste your money on this app. It has been corrupted with a software update which leaves it completely inaccessible. The support is non existing - every contact email bounces, Hema don’t support it, It is an absolute waste of money, with non-existent supportnot happy shapa

Hmm Merlin, this might have been when the app was originally released under Hema Maps. The app has had a major overhaul and user's are loving it as we continue to focus on technology and usability for users through HemaX Digital, the technology company behind Hema.Offline maps don’t load
If you leave internet service or simulate by entering airplane mode offline map fails to load. I’ve pre downloaded maps but all I see offline is my blue location dot. Zero map data. Absolutely useless for outback in Australia. I have zero faith in hemas apps these days 😞Rjeeves33

Hello your offline maps may have not configured correctly, the easiest way is to uninstall and reinstall the application and download your maps again, if this does not work can you please contact our team here https://kb.hemamaps.com/kb-tickets/newBad App….Do not buy

No where near as good as Wiki Camps. I checked a number of spots I camp, none had reviews, they all have reviews on WikiCamps. Total waste of my $’s, I deleted it already.Fussy IT guy
Struggling
I have been practising working on the plane it took me awhile to work out start point a destination but slowly I’m getting used toIt I like the PO eyes and find useful the bits and piecesNo real explanation except the last tutorial on the Internet I will struggle on thanksjimsdat
As per others ordinary.
Logged out of app, unable to sign back in, no password / username reset built into app. Went to website as developer responded to in other reviews did a password reset and unable to log in to website with freshly reset password, getting the message “invalid user”. Only if half a star was an option.Show lessMozaaInOz
More bugs than Hema Explorer
Every time the app updates it prompts me to resync. After I do, the app freezes and needs to be force closed before you can use it.
Hema have some great maps, but the ongoing numerous bugs with their apps and the months or years it takes to resolve them make it a poor overall experience.gpbell

Hi the app suggests that you SYNC regularly. the app doesnt not do it without your permission using all your bandwidth up. You dont have to do it.. I'd be curious if you can report these to support.Useful for price
Not a bad app but a few UX things I would look at. Such as I don’t need to see map updates on login, this should take place in background. Menu seems to pop out when navigating on iPad which gets pretty annoying after a while. Bush tracks are great and what we know to expect from HEMA and level of POI data is pretty useful for trip planning.Show lessAndrewwillow

Thanks for the feedback, these items definately getting updated make sure you grab our latest release from a day or so ago. Our POI data is getting updated daily hence why we're recommending regular sync's.
