Useful App
When I first used this app I couldn’t login. Tried to register again but it would not let me and there seemed to be no way out. Contacted support which was very responsive and solved the issue for me. It was my error the user name I used had been auto corrected to something else without me realising. Users should be very careful when registering. Now that I have been able to login the app really looks good and I am sure will be very helpful. Thank you Camperx.Show lessHal_mt

Hi Hal_mt?? email us at support@hemax.com (as per the support info in Apple). But if you can't login you can also visit https://planner.hemax.com and create an account there. you can then use the login from there to access the app also.Wouldn’t buy just yet, very buggy.
I select to show all interests, look at map and it doesn’t show one. Even default ones disappear. Has potential, but a bit of a let down from HEMA. 19/04/2020nick848848;&;89484849484

hi thanks for the feedback. Just so you know the interests are limited at the moment so if you put interests in and there's no match it won't show anything. Additionally Interests are a MUST HAVE, so if you enabled them all there's not going to be any POi's with everything, but we are going to put some wording around this to ensure everyone understands how it works. it's not a bug you search criteria is very strict. We are doing about 1000-2000 updates a day on POI data but don't be so restrictive with your searches and there's over 100,000+ POi's to display plus many more on the map overlaysGood travel app for finding places to go
Great app does what it says, its not like my explorer app. But definitely good maps and easy to find locations to stay. Will be a good addition to my collection of travel apps. I also found the online web site and logged in thats nice, to have both.Derry Family
Trip Planning
After playing for the past few days trip planning seems slightly better than explorer.
iPad map navigation a little buggy, keeps wanting to open settings when moving about.surfx

Hi Surfx, thanks for the feedback, i can advise the menu popup issue on ipads has been fixed in the latest release.Not good enough for the HEMA brand.
Not at all happy with this underdeveloped app. Too many flaws to list. Love HEMA maps but very disappointed with this add on. If I could find some support I would certainly be requesting a full refund.Rex Havock

When getting directions to a POI the app takes you to an online mapping source, there appears to be no offline point to point directions so unless you are following a route prepared online it’s useless if you are in the bush.bearlyconscious

HI there, this particular app doesnt provide turn by turn offline navigation. I'd recommend you try our other Explorer app for those features. We also have some new apps/features coming which may help with this. Our CamperX isn't designed nor marketed for the bush its about where to camp and visit. We'd suggest you use our Explorer Apps designed specifically for bush/4wd exploring.Not really finished
Was hoping this would be like wiki camps, but with the mapping expertise of Hema Maps. Seems like is was pushed out as a minimum viable product before it was ready. Here are the weaknesses I’ve found in the first hour. Perhaps give this some time to mature before buying it.
- link to support goes to a website with no help facility.
- when you subscribe to a map set you don’t get terms (price and how the subscription is renewed)
- if you download additional maps the mapping in the app doesn’t get better. Doesn’t seem to be a way to select a specific base map as default
- data set is very incomplete. Missing some well known camp sites in national parks. Wikicamps has these and they exist on topos.
- if a map download hangs and you restart the app it just says the map is downloaded. No way to force a refresh of what is obviously an incomplete map.Show lessuffda camper

Hi thanks for this, we have many more releases planned in the short term. We'll be launching a new support site, and if you had any queries feel free to reach out to the email or the typical hema support ticketing system. (it's all there available for you). Maps if you dont have them downloaded will be connected to online and if you're offline a generic world map is included in the package. Dataset, we actually have more POI's then anyone else, we would love you to submit the missing site you are referring to either in the app or via our support tickets. Map downloads hanging would be a poor internet connection and you can simply tap the "downloaded" button again to refresh the download, but we do appreciate the feedback. Much more exciting features to come over the coming month. Enjoy using the app, and dont forget you can also use the online web profile with planner.hemax.com as well some thing unique to the platform that no one else has and is perfect for planning purposes on a large PC or tablet as well.
