How do I connect to Google Home?
Says it’s voice capable but I am not finding it anywhere.Ahsksuxjx
It’s not what you think. Hardly worth the setup effort.
I’m all about smart homes and I have several smart devices in my house. I recently got a sweet Danby air conditioner from Costco, and the packaging had an ad for this app. Neat, right? Nope.
The app is slow and clunky. When I tried to sign up for an account, I was put in a cyclical signup journey where I was never sent a verification code to complete my account. Magically, I was still able to log in after a few more attempts.
On first start up the app worked well. It quickly turned on the device and I could set up my preferences for the unit. However, a week later, everything changed.
I’m constantly logged out of the app because of an in-app error (none of my other smart home apps log me out, and I have very stable internet). Sometimes it takes minutes for the app to connect to my air conditioning unit—which results in me just modifying my setting on the unit itself.
Worse of all, the app rarely executes my set schedules. In fact, I’m convinced if you make more than two modifications to a saved schedule, it will break it.
Now, I have an app that works occasionally. The schedules are broken. The app is clunky. And I have the constantly re-enter my credentials as I’m logged out on a weekly basis.
I’d much rather you guys just work with the smart life or with another IFFT app.Show lessAmerico24
App is basically useless
The schedule is unreliable as well as the auto function, the temperature always reads 102 outside. This app is a glorified remote and I wish they could invest more time into it.jeezmanjon
Keeps logging out
Please fix the app. It keeps logging out so if you use the sleep feature for which you can vary temp for 8 hours once it logs out the last temp remains. Or if you had it set to turn off in few hours it wont after it logs out.jowani1298
3 is a stretch
The app loaded and connected well. The problem is the out side temp says 102 all the time and as others pointed out there is no way to add auiatiim thru Alexa, google or even IFTTT.Scubaman24
Issues with temp and sleep timer
The AC unit is amazing and remote start option from the app is super helpful but there are 3 issues.
1. Constantly says it’s 102 degrees F outside.
2. Sleep timer is not user friendly.
3. Description says we can pair with Alexa. Have yet to figure this out?StephieJay:)

Had trouble getting the WiFi set up. Kept saying internal error on step 3 of 4. Can’t figure out the timer. What a hunk of junk. Thanks Costco! BEWARE.RamonesMania
102 degrees forever
Yes, I understand there’s global warming. And... it’s not always 102 degrees outside. However, that is the only reading that ever appears in this app for outside temp. Bug fix coming?t-lek
