Disappointing
This app is poorly designed and seems to be prematurely released. The app attempts to show performance of your solar energy conversion and usage, but the units and field descriptions leave the user wondering whether the metric represents a single day, a month, or all time. Furthermore, both the history and the historical export show spikes on the most current day that dwarf all other days in the history, and those values are over written the following day with values that are consistent with the other data points. Finally, there are no dates in the export, so you’re left wondering if 1 is the most recent date, the most historical date, or something else. Scrap DC Home app from Renogy
I have 4 recent Lithium Renogy batteries. The application only showed me 3 for several weeks before the 4th appeared. The pictograms showing a sun and the engine of the truck charging the battery only stay on the screen for 2 or 3 seconds and disappear to give way to the pictogram of a green D-style battery. I lost the ability to check the VR level from the DC Home application. Renogy should dismiss computer analysis and programmers. You lose your credibility over months.Show lessperronjac
Better Testing Is Needed
Once again Renogy issues an update which breaks the app or disables a feature.
They really need to do more testing before releasing updates to their software.
Amazing hardware/products but the app exerience is less than ideal.AGT6
Useless
Constantly looses connect . Does not remember login details so constantly re entering details on a minute screen. Always pushing updates that never do anything but load advertising.
Product support is non existent.
Just pay a bit more and get Victron products and save the headaches.XPFord
You did it again!!
Back to back bad apps. Requiring a internet link at anytime during operation of this app is insane. Sure you say one time but guess what….the app updates and you have to do it all over again. Buy fancy junk to operate off grid and need the grid to monitor is crazy talk. I’m not even sure why renogy issues surprises me anymore.Show lessTeluuuu
Very poor ecosystem
I bought the newest Renogy 50a DCDC and Shunt300 thinking, (foolishly) that because they are the most recent products, with built in bluetooth, that they would be designed to seamlessly sync in the app. But, thats far from the case.

Kick out the Renogy computer analysis and his team.

The App is okay but the live data is so slow to update if at all, continually have to go out of the app & reload it to get live data. Also keeps losing Bluetooth connection, can be frustrating.Marty W G

Requires log-in for basic usage
The app itself seems fine, no complaints once you’re in. But getting in…
If you take your solar-powered, off-grid RV back into civilization to check your emails, and the app updates in such a way to reset your login token, you’d better pray you logged back in before you lose service again.
Otherwise, you have NO WAY of controlling your multi-thousand dollar solar/battery system.
The fact that this app keeps prompting me to log in when I’m a 2-hour drive on bad roads from service makes me regret I ever went with Renogy for my solar equipment.Show lessPetsfed
