Useless in Outback/Remote Locations
What’s the point of installing a remote off-grid system if you can’t even access it? Renogy’s requirement to force you to ‘log in’ to access your devices is ridiculous, the app is cloud connected and requires mobile data access. Do not purchase if you go anywhere remote without mobile data access..Joel

Awesome Solar App
In comparison to the most common solar app in the world, WatchPower, this app rocks. It pulls together hard wired rs485 and Bluetooth devices seamlessly and displays pertinent information. It’s not perfect, few solar apps are, and this is largely because their product range spans many years and uses different connections and protocols, plus third party devices are not easily added. It works much better if you have a Renogy One Core doing the hard work and passing the info along to the app, with all newer Renogy rj45 or Bluetooth devices and then you get nice stuff like wireless switches to turn on non Renogy devices like inverters and battery heaters. It’s good enough now and you can clearly see how much better it will get when their devices catch up.Show lessBuchos
Requires internet
I bought the bluetooth version to easily access and manage settings. This app randomly logs me out and then requires internet access to log back in.
Access to the charge controller settings via bluetooth should not require internet access.SV Pokey
Unreliable from time
I turned off all loads to the battery because of a week or two of extremely low temperatures. I continually monitored the percentage which was originally at 72% when I turned off loads and draws.. over the couple weeks it read 68% which I believed was a normal decrease. However when I switched my breaker back on the app was reading completely depleted 0% in red showing 12.4v almost reaching the emergency shutdown at 12.2v.
If this app was accurate I would have put the battery in standby mode and or removed it and charged in the house..
The whole point is to monitor the battery so you won’t damage your equipment or devices..
This was a total fail from the renogy home app, resulting in my battery being completely depleted!(likely causing un reversible damage to battery) a situation I would never be in if the app was working properly.. Extremely disappointed that this happenedShow lessMovie truth
Made it worse
The last three updates of this App have a less clear history graph than previously and have had the wrong units for current data on the graph axis (V instead of A). Spend less time on the all the annoying marketing forced upon us in this app and more time on the technical information accuracy and clarity.Show lessJoe543210
Don’t make me login!
I’ve had no issues with the app it works fairly well… except it randomly logs you out and if your in a location with no internet you can’t log back in!

Marketing gimmick!
The apps works although the information it provides is not very useful. Must be logged in which developer states is for security. This is a poor excuse for what is really just a marketing tool. I do not need or want the community or badges I just want an app that tells me useful information, nothing more. I especially don’t want to have to create an account and be logged in to use. There are other manufacturers out there that have batter apps and don’t require an account or login to use. I prefer the experience they provide. Will not purchase any more Renogy gear until they change.Show lessdbobe1
Bluetooth failure
My DC home stopped communicating with the battery, the update didn't help. Trying to get help from Renogy is a waste of time!!Lailha_c
Renogy monitor app
Upgraded the app as requested and now app is not working. It opens then shuts down. Deleted and tried again same outcome. This is so frustrating after spending thousands of dollars and now the stupid app for remote monitoring is crap.😡freely1010
