  • Lacklustre

It’s okay for checking the SOC but that’s about it.

The Community and Me sections are a bit weird, with badges and Rays and check-ins and what not. Not really sure what they are trying to achieve with these sections but instead, I’d love to see is a more detailed and interactive breakdown of my battery/solar charger etc (much like Victron do). That would of more value to the user.

The UI is okay but could do with a redesign.

Overall it feels like they’ve just created an app for the sake of says that they have an app. I’t doesn’t really offer anything useful.

  • This app was perfect until a few days ago!

The latest update seems to have caused an issue with Bluetooth battery dropping off last version was very stable this one not so much !!
  • Not working properly …

It’s been a year I am using the app and even with all the update that were made, I still have issues with this app.

I bought the bluethooth battery in order to access everything from my phone instead of plugin cables for a monitor but this app is simply not working.

Since a week, my battery doesn’t go up to more than 20% even with the use of renogy ac/dc wall charger. After investigating my battery, the voltage is the same as if it was at 100%… suddently today, i refreshed the app and it changed from 26% level of charge to 100% … so the battery was full of charge but the app was saying otherwise. Not usefull at all !!!

  • Terrible update

As many others have expressed, the latest update has completely failed and caused all devices to stop connecting to the app and the renogy one Wi-Fi remote unit

    FIX IT URGENTLY

you are losing customer loyalty and you will lose business with such terrible customer support and service
  • Feel like I’ve been ripped off.

Got all of my renogy products specifically with Bluetooth including my battery and the app is displaying the battery is at 62 % whereas the charge controller screen says the battery is at 100 %. How can you charge people for Bluetooth and then create an app that doesn’t work with it.
  • Not a very good app

It doesn’t look like this app is really a high priority for Renogy which is unfortunate for them and their customers. I tried to report a bug in the app (just a simple spelling error) because it looks sloppy for them and is such an easy fix for a developer. The App Store re-directs you to a non-English site and there is no in-app store way to report a bug. I think this just shows lack of caring or lack of resources, in addition to just lack of QA for the app! I eventually pushed through and reported it after answering 10 questions unrelated to the bug I was trying to report. I am doubtful it will get addressed.

  • Hugely frustrating.

I’ve been using the Renogy One with Dc Home app it kinda worked, then it dropped all setting and no longer picks ANYTHING up when it scans , nothing works after a restart of all devices. Just given up! Guys please can we have updates that don’t wreck / clear/ wipe and frustrate end users. Ta
  • Frustrating

When the app works it does everything it should. However every few days the app loses memory of my battery and will not re find it again. The only fix is to delete and reinstall the app. This is pretty pointless. Would love this to be fixed .
  • Does what it says on the tin.

The App is ok, it’s pretty basic and does all it needs to. Would really benefit from a Apple Watch compatible app that would allow levels to be seen at a glance on your wrist.
  • forced registration.

downloaded to have a look and see how it works. I don’t have Renogy gear yet (and probably never will after this) but am incensed at the fact registration/internet access is MANDATORY to get into the app.

Have a look at the Victron app and take a leaf out of their book: no registration or internet required, they have a demo library of all their compatible products which allows you to look at all the features and adjustments available before you buy. This can helps massively with figuring out the right product for one’s needs, plus it’s really helpful for troubleshooting and remote help of customers/friends having trouble.
