  • Simple with room for improvement

    I just upgraded to the Lithium battery in my off grid overland vehicle. Previously I had a Renogy AGM with a third party BT battery voltage monitor device.
    This app is simple in that it provides current(time) information only. What this app is lacking is a voltage/current graph; this way I can monitor when the most current draw is occurring. For example, knowing when and how often the fridge compressor is running.

  • Can’t create account to login

    Can’t create account to login only allows 5 characters of email address to be entered.

Visit the Renogy sign-up page. 2. Fill in your email address in the first line. Press "Send" button in the second line. In the second line of the sign-up form, you will find a field to enter the 4-digit verification code. 3. Enter the code you received in the email from us into that field. 4. Proceed to enter your desired password and confirm it in the respective fields. 5. Make sure to read and agree to our Privacy Policy and Rules and Regulations. 6. Finally, click on the "Sign up" button to complete the process. Should you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out at support@renogy.com
  • Couldn’t be worse

    Lots of bells and whistles with obscure icons and functionality to connect to social media and earn badges. Whatever that’s supposed to do for me.

    But I cannot, not for lack of trying, register a warranty on a new battery. The a screen with sensible questions like date of purchase opens, but the. Immediately shuts as a verification page pops up where you need to a verification pin sent to email. Even though you are already logged in. From there you have to register the warranty on a page designed for making a claim. The first page never to be seen again.

    In my case I was unable to provide the order and sku number required. Renogy had to do it manually. Even then the manually registered warranty does not appear in my app. So I have no actual proof of warranty at all.

  • Thinly Veiled Sales Tool

    Renogy has clearly put far more effort into making this a sales tool than an actual useful App for monitoring a power system.
    The monitoring functionality is limited, and mostly inaccurate.
    It doesn’t update automatically; instead you need to back out a screen and reselect a device to get up to date data.
    You can’t change (or even see) settings on any device in the App.
    And to top it off, Renogy makes darned sure that their devices can’t communicate with anything other than their own terrible App.
    I’d give it zero stars if I could. Not only should you not get this App, you should not buy Renogy products at all.

    We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing difficulties with our app. • In Renogy products, we have two cases: 1. If you use BT-1/2 to access the device, then the same BT-1/2 and the same model of the device, you only need to add it once, we have the function of automatic connection on the home page and details page of the device, and you can re-connect it by calling up the app or refreshing it by pulling down the page. 2. For Renogy devices with Bluetooth, the same interaction logic is used, and you only need to add the device once. • We restrict some of the device settings options, also for security reasons, to prevent misuse, there are some settings can be controlled directly through the device rather than Bluetooth is a little more secure. • If you have more questions or suggestions, we hope you can leave us a message in the app community or email us at digital_service@renogy.com., thank you for your feedback.
  • Can not login

    I have downloaded, deleted and re downloaded the app it only lets me enter 4 letters of my email address I saw another review that had a similar problem. It was suggested to first create an account on the website. I did that tried to login again and the app says you can not login with a renogy account. This is pain!

    We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing difficulties with our app. If you're operating from the registration page or the forgot password page, the first column is where you enter your email and the second column is the verification code input box, we limit the verification code acceptance and input to just 4 digits long.   • DON’T BUY THEIR CRAP!!

    Bought their ONE M1 Solar controller monitor. Tried hooking it up camping and it wouldn’t work. Tried getting support and after sitting on the phone for a couple hours in line because God forbid if you stop looking at your phone for 30 seconds your phone screen times out and then you have to start all over in line again because they don’t have a callback service!… So when you can finally get through to them in a couple hours… They don’t have answers and you tell them that you have the booklet right there but it’s not real clear they have their “tech support“ send you another pamphlet in an email🙄

    So of course your phone back and you’re upset! But you still have to wait for another couple hours. Hopefully not timing out to try and talk to another agent. After you explain to them that you’re not impressed because again, the only time you can get a hold of support is during work hours on work days and then it takes literally hours to get a hold of them and then they don’t have the answers needed…. so because you tell them, you’re not happy with the product or the service and that you’re going to give them an honest review because you cannot figure out how to get this thing running, and nobody will give you answers… they will tell you they will have their second support team get a hold of you through email… Wait a couple days… No answers no email! I phoned back again and waited for another three hours to get answers trying to hook it up yet again… It finally gets up to my turn and they have put a marker on my email that when it’s my turn to talk to them they have me flagged and disconnect chat after waiting another three hours, they just ignore me and of course they’ve also put a marker on the unit itself so it won’t work for you. Is this the kind of product or even more importantly is this the kind of company you want to deal with!? Everything about this company is crap!You can spend less money somewhere else and get just as good or better product. Don’t waste your time money or effort with these clowns.💥🙄🔫

  • Awful

    The whole idea of off grid is I don’t have wifi or data reception. This doesn’t work with out either one. Waste of time app for off grid controller use

  • Connecting to multiple batteries very glitchy

    I have 5 batteries connected to my Lycan 5000 which are all connected with Ethernet cables and are Bluetooth enabled. The app keeps shutting off the Bluetooth module when I try to connect a new device. Instructions are not very clear. They say to repeat previous steps to connect more batteries, but it will not recognize the 3 extra batteries I have installed. Makes it impossible to check battery health and temperature.

  • Can’t create an account

    Allows 5 letters of my email address and then stops taking any more letters.

    Sorry for the inconvenient caused. We have created a misunderstanding for users in the design of the page, in fact our operation is that you need to enter your email in the "Enter Your Email..." field on the registration page. The second line of the input box is where we need you to enter the verification code, we have done a limit on the number of digits of the verification code, 4 digits long, which has caused you a misunderstanding, we will consider how to improve the problem in subsequent versions, thank you for your feedback!
  • Not reading battery levels correctly

    I have found this app extremely frustrating. The battery is not being read properly and continues to say the battery is only at 82% when it is actually at 100%. Customer support were very helpful but their advice did not correct the issue. The Renogy BT app does however work correctly and show the correct readings.
