  • Terrible App

    Please Renogy, make it open source so somebody can built an app that works. It was bad before but now with the latest update it won’t open at all. I need a working app. I have 2x 40amp rover controlers and 2x 200AH bt batteries. With the App not working it could be a very serious potential saftey issue.

    We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing difficulties with our app. In version 1.8.21, a technical issue prevented our app from working properly on iPhone including iOS13 and its predecessors, but we've fixed this issue in 1.8.22.   • No load switch

    Not sure if this is due to the latest iOS 16.4.1 (a) security response update or just another flaw with the DC Home app. Input, battery, and output (load) are all connected to the 10A controller and work fine MANUALLY. But within the DC Home app there is no button to turn on/off the load. Furthermore the statistics shown on the charging status screen and system history screen are not accurate. I don’t think any of the statistics have ever been accurate. For example the app would display the charge controller temperature at 82°F on a cold rainy day in the mid-fifties Fahrenheit. The controller was idle and with little sunlight. Not sure where these numbers come from. The entire app needs a UI/UX overhaul and a new developer team. Very frustrating.

    We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing difficulties with our app. The Wanderer 10A PWM Charge Controller needs to be set correctly when Load mode is Manual, we've reworked it and fixed the issue in version 1.8.23 and now you can turn on/off the load correctly, thank you for your support.
  • Junk

    Pay a fortune for the charge controllers for charging in serial, add the Bluetooth cost as well and then the app is a joke. Every time I open the app it keeps showing system error twice even when technically it’s up and running and the fact that yesterday my battery showed as been 93% remaining yet this morning. It’s 100% remaining and there is no daylight so unless the moon was so bright it charged up my battery something is wrong there as well

  • App is ok, no longer pairs with Renogy one m1

    IDK if it’s the last security update (ios16.4.1a) or what but, after using Renogy one m1 for a week it was not updating, so I unpaired it and now it will not pair with this app…I’ve tried everything, even a reset on the m1, it will not pair.

    I’ve tried to find, in community tab, any kind of talk about this, my searches come up with nothing, basically this app is useless for any kind of support.

    The app gets 3 stars, and I’m being generous, when it worked with M1 it was ok, but, could be a lot more.

  • Frustrating

    Absolute rubbish. Have to log in to use but app just refuses to do anything but provide a picture of a tent in snow covered mountains. Have spent 3 frustrating hours reloading on different devices with same result. Why is it so difficult? All it needs is Bluetooth connection. Amps from the sun is not private why the log in?

  • Unable to login

    App opens and then becomes invisible login screen never appears

  • Apple watch support

    It would be a good feature to add support for apple watch and low battery alerts . I use this app as I have a caravan with a renogy charger .We mostly use the caravan off grid so a low battery alert would be useful.

    Terrible app, updated and now can’t view battery percentage. Deleted downloaded again now can’t log in, can’t reset password or anything. Don’t know what’s going on but not being able to view battery percentage isn’t helpful they where £2k for 2 batteries and I can’t check the charge on them. Everything else in my system is Victron and works perfectly.

  • Basic but now faulty

    March 2023 - they seemed to have removed the BT2 and DCC50S from the compatibility list so it doesn’t actually connect anymore even though it shows it. Support is pathetic and just fob you off with “well forward to out technical” which never does. Currently have a BT2 Module and DCC50s with zero change to monitor it.

  • Problem with user battery settings

    The software is ok, however, I have recently seen a problem.
    I use my own 3S lipo battery packs and use the user battery settings as there is no standard battery setting for 3S packs.
    The problem is that you set the correct user settings for the battery in the software and press save, the software gives you a notification to say the settings are set. If you then go out of the battery menu and then back into the battery settings they are all reset back I.e they are not being saved.
    The MPPT charger is therefore constantly trying to overcharge my battery packs, fortunately the BMS prevents this but it is not ideal.
    If you go into the battery settings directly from the charge controller they are different to the app settings! It’s a bit of a mess and I can’t seem to sort it out.
