Complete Scam
I knew right when I got this device that it was not going to work. Lots of broken English throughout the manual. Followed the instructions exactly and multiple times with no luck. I’ll be returning this item and deleting this app
Controls Watering Well
I purchased this to replace a HomeKit enabled Eve sprinkler controller that never lasted more than a year before it failed to shut off the water.
So far, I’ve been able to configure three plans to water my balcony planter box three times a day, which seems to work well. However, I thought this product would also tally my actual water usage, but it doesn’t appear to do that. After my first day of use, nothing appears in the sensor/water flow table. I don’t have a separate sensor, but the water flow display option doesn’t appear anywhere else in the app, so thought it should appear there to show usage when the working timers run. I emailed the developer to ask about this, and am awaiting its response.

Works exactly as I hoped
I really like this product. We have rental property that’s five hours away and wanted to keep the landscaping watered. The app allows me to control everything remotely. I’ve never had any problems activating the water. I think the app could be laid out a little bit better and some of the terminology on the app isn’t all that clear, but I figured it out. Overall I’m very happy with the system.

App not helpful
My wifi water time went off line and all this app does is tell you its off line .... no try this or try that ... just its off line and go scratch
RainPoint app does NOT work
I got this product after reading some good reviews.
This product app doesn’t even work for manual or schedule.. screen always gets frozen!! Not sure if it’s just and issue with iPhone or any other products..
I called customer service, straight to the voice mail!!!

Schedule Date format issue !!!
First i noticed connecting the device to wifi is a pain. Later resolved it by clearing the cache and retrying.
App >> Me >> Settings (Icon) >> clear Cache.
The schedule doesn’t work due to date format issue. Its jun 7 (6/7/2022 M/D/Y) and when we plan the schedule to run every day morning it doesn’t turn on as the next schedule shows as (7/6/2022 M//D/Y).
This date format needs correction. I don’t understand how this was not caught by so many users using this App !!!

Lost my auto run settings for no reason
I check the app today and it had default settings for all three of our wifi rainpoint devices.. autorun was turned off and nothing was running.
update: now the device will get stuck to constantly ON and keep going even if it's out of water!

Alexa integration fails
Too bad. This app is loaded with great functionality, but despite claims that it can integrate with Alexa and enable voice control, it simply can’t do it. I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled, followed the directions which say to connect with Alexa via the Tuya app and not the RainPoint app (which won’t connect to the RainPoint hub despite many attempts) - nothing works. Fix this and I’ll rate 5 stars.

The pictures off the app are not the app you DL
Pictures of the application shown in this advertisement and in their manuals and on their YouTube pages don’t look anything like the app you get. Yeah if you get it does include the features that allow you to pair the soil sensor to the rest of the system. It’s a bait and switch: buy something else.

Decent
I have the WiFi timer and soil meter which seem to work great but there are no clear instructions on how to set everything up on the app. I’ve tried looking it up but no luck. I just want the meter to trigger the timer to water when needed and to shut off when needed by itself. In the app there is a place for directions but link is broke. 3 stars for good product with poor app.
