  • Few software updates / sporadically functioning

The software updates are not keeping up with iOS releases - making it difficult if not impossible to use given its sporadic results. Interaction with the developer would be greatly enhanced if the app provides logs and other debugging information. The developer should consider beta releases through TestFlight, as well.

  • Apple Watch to Garmin Bike Computer - Seamless!

Wanted a way to use the HR from my Apple Watch 6 with my Garmin Edge for recording HR alongside cadence, speed, power, etc. without another strap. Setup took <30 secs and seems to work perfectly. Great job!
  • Get this now!!!

Can’t believe this is free. Used it for the first time and it worked great!!! Seamless connection and accurate. Not a fan of the peloton chest strap/monitor and do not have bike+. This allows you to cast the HR from your watch to upper left hand corner of your peloton class just as if you were wearing the chest strap. Ad free too!!! So excited, hopefully continues to work as well moving forward. I have Apple series 5.

  • Echelon

I wish this worked with echelon bikes!
  • Garmin 530 won’t connect

Not really sure what the problem could be here. I’m using an AW6 and and iPhone XR. It allowed me to add heartcast as an hr sensor on the edge, but when I try to connect, it hangs up on the connecting screen.
  • Great Apple Watch - Peloton interface

Works as advertised with no issues. Some things to consider: per instructions from the app, you do need your phone handy to make the Bluetooth connection with the bike. You also have to be a bit patient and wait for the pairing notification on your phone; it takes long enough to make you think it’s not working. Once connected, you can do multiple classes w/o having to re-pair: if doing another ride, ignore the “not connected” tab on the peloton screen & notice if the heart rate # is still displayed on the upper left; if so, you’re good to go & just jump in to your workout. Hope this helps!

  • Buggy

Works occasionally but doesn’t more often than not... connectivity issues have become really common. My watch and phone communicate absolutely fine for everything else
  • Great support team and works on latest iOS!

The support team for this app is great! I had a few issues initially due to some weird hidden settings on my iPad. After chatting on Twitter chat we were able to resolve the issue. The support team was incredibly patient while I adjusted the knobs on my Apple Watch, iPhone and iPad and we were working on it over two days. Now everything works great on my iPad. Note there’s interference with Apple fitness plus so make sure you’re disconnected on that before you connect to heartcast (and vice versa). I donated $2 just for the great support team (tho free version works fine)

  • Doesn’t work

This worked for a couple of weeks but since about mid-to-end-Dec this app stopped working. Not only doesn’t it work, but it connects and disconnects continually thru the ride. When it is connected, it displays an empty box where my heart rate should be. And every time it connects and disconnects it displays a message in the middle of the screen which is super annoying. I have tried deleting and reloading the app on both my phone and watch, have restarted both and the bike, but nothing works. My husband used the app as well and his does the exact same thing, so it’s not my device. Searching for a new solution.

  • Worked once

My Wahoo ELEMNT Roam only managed to understand it once and it never shows HR again. Not sure what is broken

    Developer Response

Hi IvayloMihaylo, unfortunately we do not currently support the Wahoo Elment Roam. We've had mixed reports from some users. We've also reached out to Wahoo for assistance. Here is the information from our website: Unsupported: Elemnt Roam & Bolt - We've received mixed user reviews for these devices. In some cases users are able to use HeartCast with a Wahoo Bolt, but only when the iPhone is completely unpaired from the Wahoo Bike Computer. This of course limits some features of the Bolt. When the bike computer is paired to the iPhone it is unable to see HeartCast as a viable heart rate monitor. I hope you'll reconsider this rating as it is currently outside of our control. https://www.heartcast.app/#supported-fitness-equipment-and-bike-computers
