  • Fun, but ultimately frustrating

Not a bad game, but apparently not supported. The Grinch stole the 4-week long Holiday event, because they only compared month and day for calculating start times, not taking year into account. So on January 1, all the running events switched to starting in 350+ days, making them impossible to finish, despite continuing to show a 9-day countdown timer. The exact same bug happened last year, and hasn’t been fixed!

  • Good game, needs more content

Ok have to confess I am writing this review in the hopes it gets a bug fixed. I spent 16 silver keys to open High Scholomance to get my Frost mages upgraded but every time I try to enter it the game crashes. I have no problem anywhere else in the game. Have completed all the regular exploration, hence the request for more content, and many of the dungeons requiring keys but this one is a bust for now. For those considering the game, I would recommend playing but don’t spend money. No support and no need. If you are patient you will get enough of everything through the weekly challenges and the pvp tournaments (for the latter wait until 12 hrs before the end to place first).

  • Rating 1 as would not stop asking me to rate it

Fun game otherwise - just started
  • Need to fix dungeon and ads

This is a fun game-overall. However, there are some very annoying things that keep this from getting a 5 star. There is no in-game way to report a bug. One bug I would report is with the Scholomance dungeon. It crashes the game. Either fix that or refund my keys. The other annoying feature are the broken advertisements. I don’t mind seeing the ads as I figure that is how the developers make their money, but there are a couple of these that don’t run, don’t close, etc. Chase is the most obvious example.

  • Awesome game

I really loved Heroes and Might magic game I played years ago on computer. This game exactly that without the pressure on getting to defeat other players. Plus it’s free! Thank you Tinysoft!
  • Heroes of Might & Magic Clone

For those that enjoyed earlier versions of Heroes of Might & Magic, you’ll find a contemporary version geared for mobile in this game. The map navigation, battle system, and unit types are nearly identical; while the game is a pay to win experience so common in mobile these days. It’s nostalgic, but ultimately disappointing in the perversion of what was an interesting strategy game.

  • Great Design, but quickly becomes “pay to play”

I was looking for something like HOMM for mobile, and this really hits the spot! Unfortunately it is almost impossible to progress without spending $5-10 every couple of weeks or saucing TONS of ads. I wish I could just spend $10 on a game, one time, and actually get to play that game….. ugh! Hate this model.

Also it’s kind of broken? I am so frustrated because I won the rankings last week and never received the ingame award that was promised…. So now again I can’t progress in the game without spending money? I think I’m done…

  • Great for free app

Great battle play, exploration, rewards, arena to name a few things I like about this app. No pay to play. You don’t build up you’re own castles, but have added other things to still make it a good game. Love it, totally recommend giving it a shot.

Only thing I’d really like to change would be that there was a way to reset all the islands after conquering all of them. I really enjoyed the exploration, but now I can’t explore anymore without having to delete n download app again, starting all over again , losing the awesome hero and army I’ve built. I’d like there to b a way to build up another hero and explore islands also.
But I still enjoy playing it, bravo to people who made this app, thanks!

  • Scopioking

Heros was a childhood golden memory. The app did well in bringing back the essence of that fun and excitement in a mobile world. The in-game purchases, however, were a shame. If battle can simply be won by spending real money, what is the point of working on the techniques (which was why the original Heros was so fascinating)? The app developer should have enough earning from the advert fees already. Really don’t see the point of promoting all sorts of in game purchases. This will have a negative impact on the continuing popularity of the game, as many lessons have been learnt by other mobile games that came and went… Also, in game purchases is harmful to young children, as it subtly teaches them that they don’t have to compete fairly…

  • Ok but expensive and freezes

Overall I like the game. But there is a bunch of different areas on a map to clear and when you clear about half the area you need diamonds to continue. When you need 250 diamonds for the first area it is possible to save from the few you run across and by watching ads. But at 500, 750, 1000 diamonds you will have to be buying gems especially since you soon discover that when you try to watch ads at 5 diamonds per ad, the ads keep freezing up and takes several hours to a couple of days for the frozen ad to clear. Happy spending 🤑.
