I got this to watch over my dogs when I’m not home. This is a great little camera. I put 4 stars only because I had a hard time setting it, up until my kids helped me. Lol. I plan to buy another one to put on the other side of the room. No complaints at all !
this camera has a difficult time connecting to phone & wifi. But if it does eventually connect (if you hard wire it) then it works well & video, audio quality are good. The app is a bit glitchy & notifications sometimes don’t cone thru. It can be annoying to use, but I don’t know of any better options
I love the view/angles and the fact that I can change it while viewing it. I always use it to check on my dogs when I’m away. I plan to get a black one to blend in with another part of the house.
This was perfect for monitoring my elderly grandmother. However, the updated version imposes a 5minute limit for viewing your live feed. With the time limit, this app/camera is no longer functional. Can you please change this time limit or offer access to your older version?
In addition, the play back function is also affected with the update. I can be reviewing footage from 2:17pm when it automatically jumps to 8:45pm. This never happened on the older version.
Please please please offer a solution.
I have 2 cameras. Initially they were easy to install and showed a great picture. In less than 2 weeks they suddenly dropped from my app at the same time. App shows “no devices”. I tried to add them back on and it says cannot join. The WiFi is working fine but I cannot get either camera to reconnect. I’ve deleted everything and reset the cameras several times with no success. When I try to reach support that also says failed to send. Very frustrating and disappointing.
I live the camera and app but i have a memory card and icloud plus the subscription on this app but it only let me view 7 days view not a month. I want to at least have a month and not only days. Did i miss something? If i do please let me know.
Picture quality and ease if use are very good. Main problem is the lag time between movement and the start of the recording. I am using the camera to keep track of my Alzheimers suffering mom’s sleep walking at night. So I have the camera directed mostly at the floor and side of the bed. I get many notifications of movement, but can’t see movement when I look at some of the videos because of the time it takes to actually start recording. She most likely kicked the covers. If she stands up, then it does capture that, which is what I need. At $49 you can’t expect it to be very high performance.
I do recommend this camera.
This is the first indoor camera I’ve ever used. The 360 degree function is not smooth, though I have nothing to compare to. 8/10 times you must take a 21 shot panorama of the room before you can change the angle and rotate the camera. Other than that the picture quality and alert system seem to function as expected, I just wish it was easier to reposition the camera so I’m not bombarded with alerts while I’m in my own room.

Regarding this issue, we would suggest you set the alert time on the camera settings. when you are home, it will not send the alert to your frequently. Giving three stars for now, it worked really well just as a simple camera to check in on my fish but now I can only load audio and the picture always freezes right away, can barely ever see any video anymore. The other most recent reviewer is having the same issues- please fix and I’ll update!
My parents live in the guest house across my driveway. Dad has Parkinson’s and mom has dementia. They are both pretty independent for now. I do like having the camera so I can monitor when my dad gets up at night and this is when he most frequently falls. Mom says he falls a lot, dad says he doesn’t. Now I can see they are just fine. Only had the camera for a month but has been totally worth the peace of mind.
