Been using for 2 months and it has always connected quickly. While on a recent trip, it was great to be able to view files at my leisure and the “live” view is a nice feature to randomly check in on pets.
The camera works but not as well as I’d like and now after a recent update I can’t get the picture to rotate on my phone, liked it better before the update, after feedback from the developer, they have resolved my problem. Now the camera and motion light work in a way I like.
I’m not sure why they took away the “capture”, siren, and landscape viewing features. They used to be easy access buttons from the main screen. Now, I can’t even find them in the settings anywhere. The camera still works and I can access it from my phone thankfully, but this latest update is NOT good.
I loved everything about this app until the most recent update. I can no longer view full screen or have any options on the bottom of the screen anymore. Where did the mic/talk option go? This app is now a viewing only app with no interaction and it’s horrible. Please bring back the older version!
I love how easy this was to set up! I also like how it alerts you when it detects any movement. I also like how clear you can see from your phone. I would definitely recommend for beginners. I bought this to spy on my cats.
Since the last update, the cameras will say “Video will be available for viewing shortly” with a gray screen but it never loads. I don’t have the cloud service. It’s playing straight from the card. It worked great until the latest update rolled out a couple of days ago. I have to close the app and reopen several times before the video will finally load.
I think I’ve only written a couple of app reviews in the last 20 years. I do like these cameras and the app so thought I would send one suggestion. I have another camera app that allows me to play back video in 2x, 4x, 8x, etc. It makes reviewing footage so much easier than watching it in real time when you’re trying to find the kids that ding dong ditched you in the middle of the night.

I have a golden that is getting up there in years. This camera helps me keep an eye on her and and the upstairs while I am working in the basement. It lag a little, but that could be my WiFi. I would buy this again.
This camera is perfect for what we need! We really like the functionality of being able to rotate it around the room and up and down. It’s a good way to keep an eye on our pet while we are away.
We got two PTZ cameras given to us for our house in VA. We haven’t moved in yet and are still in NY for awhile. These help us check on the place until we complete the move. With the remote Cloud account storing video activity, it will be more cost effective than a security system like ADT for the meanwhile.
Great clarity, but tilting up is a bit of an issue with both cameras.
We got this to watch our dog while we were away to make sure she was okay. It’s perfect, great picture quality, good sound, and easy move around remotely. We can even speak to her if needed. I will say the sound seems much louder on the app than it really is in reality, but that’s probably good if your trying to hear everything going on.
