  • Decent power solution so far

We just got an Ecoflow Power Kit for our van. We really like it so far - we finally found a system that is meeting our power needs. For what you get w the Power Kit, the early bird pricing was good (the regular list prices are a lot less competitive). Installation was as easy as it can get.

My only minor points of constructive feedback are that this app can be a bit clunky - like due to the Bluetooth nature of it (maybe?) it is slow to respond at times. And the data analytics is lacking.

To the devs of this app: You are missing an opportunity to offer a lot more useful data analytics and visualization information. It’d be an easy win.

Your graphs would be a lot more useful if you had an option to view a record of battery bank % vs time.

This way folks can see how much we drain our batteries down throughout a day and know what it’s lowest point is on average or how low it gets over night for example. Also a similar metric on individual batteries and battery health. Our batteries always charge and discharge at different rates and I haven’t yet figured out how the power hub is prioritizing that.

What you offer: total in vs total out just isn’t as useful as specific metrics on the battery bank itself.

Hi, we are thrilled to know that you like our product and we will continue to make our App better as you suggested!
  • What Happened? Update

This new update makes it difficult to connect to units!! It’s SUPER SLOW and glitchy. Freezes many times!! Also the smart panel on occasions turns off its WiFi connection which makes it a serious issue when I’m on travel and can’t connect. Please fix or go back to previous firmware. Regards Cesar L.

    Update,
Much much better. Much faster. Lag is just about all gone!! It’s quick and snappy!! I did find one issue. It’s kinda big. When your using solar panels to charge during the day, the Smart Home Panel has the recharge switch turned on! But, you didn’t activate the SHP switch to use grid power to charge the Delta pros. It’s also not using grid power. You can’t turn it off either! You try but it just keeps auto switching on. So, if you want to do both grid and solar, that’s no longer possible because the glitch has the SHP recharge switch in the on position without activating grid recharge and there’s no way to turn it off because it will just override your command and put it back in the on ( and inactive ) position. So there’s no way to manually do 2 way charging, ie solar + grid AC. Otherwise it’s very quick and responsive.
    Please fix this issue.
    Best Regards
    Cesar L.

  • current version terminates after about 30s

    update:
After updating the app, the current version seems to terminate the app after about 30 seconds of use. i'm sure this is just a glitch, or some error, but I want to report this so it gets attention

The app and the product is everything it's advertised to, I like the minimal feel of the product design. I much prefer Wi-Fi over Bluetooth, but maybe I'm just biased because I have everything else on Wi-Fi so it makes sense.

  • Was great until they changed logins

Used the sign in with apple, now they want me to create a new account with email and password. Why? Was it because you weren’t getting as much information from the Apple Login like email addresses and such? With the app needed to access the major functions of this product I’m seriously reconsidering buying EcoFlow products in the future.

  • Back to dial up

These apps are getting more abyssymal as we go, every software update is an excersise in humiliation for using these products. I have the pro, the max, the mini and the plus, I have the smart panel but afraid to have it installed dur to endless aggrivation of reconnecting after an update ruins everything over and over. “Is your wifi flashing”? Oh yes, memories of Lexmark printer installation disk on dial up in early 90’s, now my max won’t load or rcognize in the app, is your wifi still flashing? Grrrrrrrrrrrr! If there were a store I could dump all this stuff on the counter and get my $$$ back, I would.

  • The best on the market and more

Let me start off by saying that I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews for this app, I think that like any software/hardware system they go through iterations.

I’ve bought the Delta max product and the app works incredibly in fact more than I expected. They have clearly put software first when it comes to switches, which is exciting because you can only imagine one features they may release (scheduled timers please). The pairing between their port product connections and the information that has passed between them is very impressive.

There are a few people asking why they wouldn’t use Bluetooth instead of Wi-Fi stating that many people use these batteries for off grid solutions or temporary installations. The thing is that Bluetooth does not require any authentication and people can connect to your battery and have all the fun they want. Which in some uses e.g. CPAP could result in misuse.

What I do is I have a little Wi-Fi router that I plug straight into the AC outlet (with my home Wi-Fi name and password mimicked) that I use on the go so that if I ever have to use it off grid I just plug it in and take it on the go, may cost 30 bucks but it’s worth not having someone tamper with your set up.

Overall I’m super impressed by their app, I had another brand before (no mentions) and they are incredible but the lack of an application and thoughtfulness that DeltaFlow adds makes it for me amazing!

  • Really Disappointing

    I have a love/hate relationship with Ecoflow.
Love because the system works well… for the most part. The app connecting is buggy and seems to get worse with each iOS update so can’t monitor levels often. This is problematic as the screen on the unit is garbage, aka unreadable, and their support told me to use the app instead rather than fixing or replacing the unit. (Screen went out after about one month of use.) The company seems to be more interested in creating more offers to sell than customer satisfaction and service which is disappointing. If things don’t change, I’m sure there will be another worthy competitor soon that can take my business and loyalty. I so wanted for Ecoflow to care and be THE company I endorse. 🤷🏻‍♀️

  • App

For the app to work you need to disconnect (forget) your network then open app and connect to your unit.. otherwise it will connect to your local network before connecting to the unit and fail every time ..
  • Love our EcoFlow Delta Pro

We love our EcoFlow Delta Pro. We bought it for our RV so we could boondock. When we are not camping, we run our fridge and freezer full time on it. We have 3 445w panels hooked to it. We also do all of our dehydrating with it. If we loose grid power we can get by with running the fridge, freezer, lights and we would be able to run our internet and devices indefinitely.

  • V 3.0.3 breaks Wi-Fi

I have two Delta pros. They’re connected to my wireless network via Wi-Fi. After upgrading to 3.0.3 I lost communication with both of them on both my iPhone and my iPad. EcoFlow needs to hire a more knowledgeable network person. After trying multiple times to reconnect them to the Wi-Fi I see that each time after they connect the unit immediately turns off its Wi-Fi radio and the icon disappears from the front panel. Neither of my two units will stay connected now. Wait for the next version.
