Update: Yes, there’s a full-time team of human agents available, but unfortunately, they don’t have the authority to assist. They are extremely nice, but they aren’t in charge. Example, issues with deposits: 1.) Plaid: unreliable, support not in charge. 2.) Deposit funds from another account: unreliable, tech support unavailable. 3.) Pay your landlord: not available. 4.) Transfer to your landlord works great …. unless it doesn’t: “The payment could not be created, since it puts you over your daily ACH credit limit” The system is far from being flawless yet the support is nearly completely automated. That means if you run into a problem you’re on your own. It works if it works and it doesn’t if it doesn’t, there seems to be no third option e.g. locating te issue or fixing it.Developer Response

I’ve been in my rental property for the Last 3 years and I truly enjoy that the management company uses Piñata because it makes renting truly enjoyable. To actually be Rewarded each month for making your payments on time makes it that much more special. To be able to save up my rewards for All of the Amazing Gifts and Gift Cards that are on the site is Amazing!!! This year I even went a step further and applied for the Piñata debit card where I can use it to pay rent and make my every day purchases all while getting rewarded which I can’t do with my other debit cards. Thank you Piñata for keeping us Renters in mind.Been with them a while
Been a paid user for quite some time now, until the upgrade. It’s a shame the only plan is yearly, not everyone can afford it this way and the site referencing the monthly cost is misleading since u can only pay annually now. I would have continued to pay on a monthly basis but it is what it is so although it takes forever to get enough points now since there is almost never new earning opps (surveys etc) its free so…. Now just 5 months till I can afford what I saved up for forever and had until I no longer was a paid user n was trying to figure out the upgrade. But in the mean time all rewards were also being increased- so went from having it to 5 more months till I can earn it. Frustrating but guess such is life!!!Developer Response
