Awful after the change to a paid membership
This is a completely useless app ad of a few months ago when nearly everything changed to a paid monthly fee. You used to get a decent sum of points each month and reasonably priced rewards along with the credit monitoring perks all for free and you just had to review your landlord each month. Now to do basically anything there's a monthly subscription fee and the rewards are all so expensive and the free points are minuscule. It's a worthless app since the change that just sells your info to third parties. And it's tied in with corporate property management companies so all around just a negative experience.
Update: the developer responded but didn't refute anything I said lol. They most certainly sell your info. I signed up through a brand new work phone/number and mysteriously started receiving spam and phishing texts/calls after joining Piñata. Stay away

Hello Peen Nuts, We'd like to clarify some points about our $5/month subscription: It offers access to more rewards and weekly high-value giveaways. You can report rent to all 3 credit bureaus, with up to 24 months of backreporting. You receive 100 welcome points and 6x the monthly points of a free account. Your data is not shared with property management companies unless they enrolled you. Free accounts still have access to limited rewards, but don't include credit reporting.
