Needs Updating
The timer feature doesn’t work. As soon as I line up the strip, the photo automatically is taken - no countdown at all. Therefore the strip reading is inaccurate every time.
Will update this review if the timer issue is resolved.Mevlan

I dont see camera capture on ios anywhere in the app. Only allows manual entry.ghus_1
Update deleted data, photo capture barely works
The most recent update deleted all of my data and settings, which takes away half the value of the app, and leaves me to recalculate the volume of my irregularly-shaped pool.
The photo capture barely works. If the strip is not lined up perfectly and lit by indirect sunlight, the capture doesn’t work, and the results aren’t consistent. Capturing the same strip twice can produce wildly different results.Pearldrummer992
Makes it easy!
I bought a house with a pool, and sketchy instructions from the old homeowner. I have been making things up as I go. For the most part, it has been an ‘OK’ experience. This year, my water got cloudy, and I couldn’t fix it.
I finally broke down and got the test kit, and in two days, my kids were swimming in crystal clear water! It has been soooooo easy to keep up, now that everything is in the range it should be, and the app takes all the guess work out of what I need to add to balance! This is just so much better!fyrtamer
Great App
Easy to use and way better than trying to eye ball a color for adjustments. Great guidance tips when you’re off and sometimes even give you amounts of chemicals needed to correct.Just another pool guy
Great idea, capture is not good
I love the instructions about what chemicals to add and how it breaks down each reading. Very innovative! However, the image capture is really finicky if not altogether wrong.
I accidentally only bought the refills. The refill bottles do not come with a comparator! However they suggest using this app. Cool! The first thing I noticed was how awkward taking a picture of the strip is: one hand is wet while the other is holding the phone steady. You end up dripping water all over your phone! Meanwhile your strip is already drying out.
The images just aren’t working, not enough focus to get a good reading. They also stated you should use the gray background on the comparator; however as mentioned before if you only buy the refill pack you are out of luck.
I do love that you don’t need an account. If the image capture worked this would be five stars easy!Signatal
Stop asking for feedback when trying to capture a read!
Go through about 4 test strips before getting a reading that is not the most accurate. The most annoying part is how it asks for feedback whenever I’m trying to get a capture.Tikitonz
