  • App causes missed chats

    If I left the app logged in it had a habit of turning on my chat despite me turning it off. Had it happen multiple times so I removed. It would happen at all times of the day. Even hours after turning off the chat. Guess I will just stick to desktop.

  • Ignore the other review

    The company livechat is actually pretty great been using them for a couple years. The app is also well done.
  • Can’t zoom screenshots

    I use the LiveChat app for technical support and customers send me screenshots. The app doesn’t let me zoom or rotate my screen so I can read the text in the screenshots. I reported it to the developers many months ago, they acknowledged but has since ignored this.

    Hello, With the 2.4 version update the zooming feature was added to the app. Please install the latest app version to use it.
  • I DO NOT want to accept chats all the time!!!

    Whenever I turn off “Accept chats”, it always automatically turns on itself later. Are you assuming we should be available for chatting 24/7 and have no problem to be bothered when I feed my baby at 2AM ??????

    Hello, We are not assuming that at all, you should be fully in charge of your time management while using LiveChat apps. We were able to recreate the issue and yesterday we released a fix for it, we are really sorry for that inconvenience.
  • Needs serious improvement

    While we are very happy with LiveChat as a service, this app does not feel like it’s part of the LiveChat ecosystem and needs serious improvement.

    Besides a pretty terrible UI compared to the desktop app, the main issue (as multiple other reviews already mentioned) is that notifications are not reliable at all, causing missed chats and upset customers. We’re a small business and I mainly use the app on the weekends when we don’t have support staff at the office. When it works, it’s very convenient: I get a notification when customers open a chat and can reply from my phone as if it were a text message.

    Very often, however, notifications do not come through and customers are left waiting thinking we are ignoring them. Just today I thought it was odd that zero customers had messaged us all weekend. I logged in only to find four unassigned chats and two rated bad due to no response.

    I have checked all notification settings and everything looks fine. I even made sure to uncheck dnd if on desktop just in case.

    Unfortunately, I have decided for now it’s a better approach to just be offline instead of “greeting” customers and then not realize they are talking to us.

    Once this app is fixed and brought up to LiveChat standards, our experience with your service as a whole will improve dramatically as a reliable mobile app is the only (and important) missing piece for us.

  • Change it back!

    The whole point I downloaded the app was to be notified of an incoming chat when I stepped away from my computer for a few seconds. I made sure my settings allowed for all notifications from the live chat lite app even if I'm active on my desktop and I never get notifications. The old app always sent me a notification. Please bring this back!! That's the whole point of the mobile app.

  • No chats

    I am not sure how to contact you direct. The old LiveChat app would even work when my phone was locked. I would get a message alert and I could chat with customers once I unlocked the phone. The new Lite app puts me away when my phone locks so the customers are forced to leave a message. There are not any settings for me to stop this. The app is useless if I have to have my phone unlocked and that app opened.

Within the new release we also implemented the unique notifications sound you may know from the old app (and some more customisation options too).   • NOTIFICATIONS DON’T WORK

    I had the old version which worked fine. The new version doesn’t notify you of a chat, which sort of defeats the whole purpose of having a chat function on your website. Garbage.

  • Misses notifications

    It’s been weeks with this new app and I constantly
    Do not get notifications. Horrible. Go back to the old one. I’m losing sales because of this
