Great grill/ really bad app
Have had to download app several times. It keeps losing my account and connectivity even though it’s 15 feet away from my Bluetooth device. Will not send password recovery email to verified address. Great when it works but not worth the frustration.

Grill works great.
App requires logging in at least half the time. Constantly ‘forgets’ grill. Loses connection despite grill showing wifi connection (and confirmed on router). Even caused grill to turn on once at random with no input from me.

Bad connection
I barley connect to the Wi-Fi, and for the few times it does connect I always loose the connection. I have my grill set up next to the living room window where the router is so if distance is the issue then the Wi-Fi receiver on my Grilla Grill is garbage. My lights, Speakers and Alexa all work in the backyard so I know it’s on my router.

Alpha connect performance
I’ve had zero issues with the alpha connect while using my Silverbac. It’s simple and to the point. This makes grilling so easy I feel like I’m cheating.
App doesn’t work
App says it’s connected but actually isn’t. Worked fine for a long time but recently decided that it has connection issues. Nothing about my internet changed and no recent update to the app. I deleted the smoker from the app and have set it up multiple times. It makes a connection and is accurate but then about a minut goes by and it stops responding.

Great APP
Not sure why all the hate. The app worked flawlessly. I think the key to disconnects is you need a wireless extender somewhere near the grill if possible. I have a WI-FI satellite in my kitchen by my deck, which is about 15 feet from the grill, Haven’t had a disconnect yet. Setup was easy and took just a minute. Love adjusting the grill from anywhere, even turning it on/off is great. I think a need for improvement would be a graphing system. I did love this on my BGE fan because I knew when to wrap a pork butt or brisket to get over the stall. Grilla, please add this at some point. Overall, great work.

Don’t waste your time or money!!
This grill and app has been a nightmare! I have had nothing but problems with both! Now, out of the blue they have disabled my account so I cannot control my grill with the app! This is illegal, I paid for Silverbac Alpha and now they disable my account! The app is unstable and customer service was awesome until now, it seems like they are gradually going downhill! I would not recommend this app or grill at this point.

Working flawlessly for me. Had some issues getting it set up but once I did, it’s awesome. Smoking brisket while at work 20 miles from home is awesome
Garbage
This isn’t something that should even need a password…sitting here unable to monitor my cook…after a year it making me create an account and I’m now locked out…oh by the way it doesn’t provide alerts when timer or when it hits the mark
