Strategic Card Fun
Rivals has been on of my favorite fighting games ever, so the introduction of a card game sounded too good to be true. Rules and the main mechanics are fleshed out, and the tutorial introduces everything very intuitively. There are some IAPs, but progress thus far seems swift without them. Really bad level system
Interesting game, I liked it at the beginnig but then I saw they implemented all the bad feature of clash royale I removed it. In this game they feel even worse.
1) the worse is the card leveling. Why so? Just let people who have been play longer or pay, an illusion of strenght?. Just makes it more pay to win. Why should I lose only because someone has higher cards level? Does make sense the system
2) the pass gives too much advantages

Most unique card game I’ve ever played!

Vary Impressive
Reminds me of Skystomes from skylanders while still doing something new. So far I’m really enjoying the game. I haven’t played for vary long but, it dose seem as though it can be hard to obtain the black-ish purple gem things but, you get so many new creatures that it doesn’t seam to matter *to* much. My rating from before doesn’t matter anymore
I got a new phone so this game works now, and it’s probably the best mobile game I have. Also a phenomenal strategy game, with no type advantages like Pokémon games but spaces that make your cards have more points. Amazing concept, even better execution.uh I don't have creativity
Love it except for tutorial soft lock
I really like this but because I’m getting a new dungeon tutorial (even though I’ve played this for half a year) I’ve been softlocked in a quick crawl. When I get to when it asks me to level up a card instead of taking a better card or gold, wrastor covers up the select button because the card is in the bottom right and I can’t press it. And because when I load the app it brings me straight to my last turn in the battle, and I can’t pause because I won on my last turn and it won’t let me during the tutorial, I’m kind of screwed.
All in all great game, is an actual online multiplayer app and not just a PTW freemium rip-off, only problem is I can’t play it. Hope you guys see.Show lessWee Woo Woah Wah
Great game but needs updating
I love everything about this game from the concept to the gameplay but when it comes down to it, it still has a lot of bugs. When in game it takes a good chunk of time to find an opponent which is fine but when you get into a match with an opponent you glitch out 15% of the time, also there is a glitch in the reward ladder that doesn’t allow you to collect your rewards at a certain point but you can collect them before and after that point. Another thing it is way too time consuming to get more cards and resources, without a getting chests after every win the battle pass type system they have is fine but there needs to be something else besides micro transactions to keep people going. I’d absolutely love to see this game blow up but it’s simply not going to happen with all of these bugs and inconsistencies in play.Show lessPurplePenguin53
A lot of potential
The game is overall solid and reminds me a lot of triple triad from final fantasy. I was hooked immediately and even purchased the rival pass. But the more I played the more bugs I noticed. Such as not receiving rewards and dungeons not forming correctly. I reached out to the devs on discord and Twitter. I was ignored on discord and received one response on Twitter asking what was the issue and my in game name so they could try and fix it. I responded quickly and never heard from them again. So I guess maybe the ratings are so good because negative reviews are removed or something?
But anyways, previously I mentioned that it revolves around PvP, with AI matches for rewards ending really quickly, but it turns out if you get lucky and don’t find a match in 30 seconds, you can choose to face an AI opponent, which is one nice thing.
Though it still tries to make you buy the Season Pass after pretty much every match, and without the season pass, rewards are severely limited. Also the only half-decent way to earn gold is to spend some premium currency to enter dungeons and have a chance to get some, with one-time “Plunder Dungeons” available for free from the shop sometimes, which doesn’t really make any sense. Also, there are daily Elemental Dungeons that cost over $1 worth of premium currency to enter each time, and if I understand correctly from how they were described in-game, they don’t even guarantee rewards if you fail them...
Again, a cool idea, but there are much better ones out there that are less expensive in the long run.Show lessAwesomePossum50
