Was great, update not
The app was working great when I purchased my first robot vacuum but this new update where they add 3D, useless, is VERY glitchy and frustrating. The S1PRO is the most glitchy of them all, sometimes it’ll pull up the map after about 10 tries and sometimes it won’t. You can’t select the map from the cleaning history as you can on other nova models.

Setup for vacuum in app will not complete
I have tried and failed many times to get my Luna to connect to this app but no matter what I try it fails every time. I have disabled my home networks 5 ghz setting so it can only connect through the 2.4 ghz and it fails. I have disabled my firewall and it fails. I have adjusted every setting known to man and guess what it does….it fails to connect. The vacuum shows up on my network, but as LDROBOT which is not what it shows in the tutorials. The vacuum is great, it cleans well but since I can’t use the app to set boundaries it gets stuck quite often. Would not recommend to anyone.

Update nightmare
I have had my nova since July 2022. I did figure it out after much trial and error back in July 2022. Things were pretty good. 4 stars. Now, this update is horrible. I can’t get nova through even the first mapping to get to the setting part of assigning a region or room name. I tried using the boundary function to guide nova and mark, say, like the great room that is carpet and kitchen that is hardwood. Realized that constrained in as ability to go back to the charger. I can’t seem to just remove that boundary lines. Okay, so I deleted the app. Opened it again. There it was the same inept map. Egads.. fix it please and makes a good tutorial video of how to. Thanks

DO NOT update to 4.0.0
Before updating the app to 4.0.0 my nova pro didn’t have to many issues & it would vacuum most of my home reliably. However 4.0.0 has changed that to unreliable. I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app and a complete factory reset without success. Now my custom maps with boundaries, zones, rooms and areas are gone. If I were under the return period the robot would be gone as well. Why can’t these folks test out their app updates before pushing them out full of easily detectable bugs?

The vacuum is fine, the app is horrible.
As stated above, the map has deleted on me like 4 times and we just got the thing. Lots of bugs and the app needs fixing. It makes this machine not worth any type of money paid for it. It’s not exactly easy to have to move the house around accordingly over and over so I can map out the house 3 times a week. Lots of issues, please fix because this thing has so much potential

New “features” don’t work/save
Naming rooms/regions only saves 1 at a time. Once you name another room/region, it defaults the previous one you renamed back to “Room1.” Also, regions and areas, while two separate parts of the app, both count towards your 10 room limit.
Also, the new “feature” that allows you to save custom vacuum strength settings per region doesn’t save, and only defaults to sweep and standard suction.
Fix the app - it obviously wasn’t tested before this big release that you so hyped and pushed on us via email blasts.

App not consistent between two vacuums
I have an older Eclipse that works well with the app. Runs on a schedule. I decided to buy a Nova so that I could set virtual boundaries and use it downstairs. The issue that I'm having is that the schedule toggles off after each cleaning. I've contacted iHome customer service. Their response has been 1. Did I save the schedule? Answer yes 2. Delete the app and reinstall. Answer didn't help.
This appears to be a bug in the software. I need the schedule to work each night. Please fix and respond with an actual solution.

If you want a vacuum for the year
Literally programmed and built for failure after the warranty expires. Expect about a year out of any of their products and that’s all. Not built to last not built to repair only reason it got 2 stars is because I didn’t have to vacuum for a while.
Can no longer connect app to autovac.
I got a new phone, downloaded the latest version of the app, and haven’t been able to use the app to connect to my older eclipse g. No support docs include this issue, difficult to connect with support in general. How such a great thing goes bad is beyond me. I’ve been holding out for almost a year, but at this point I’m ready to find a new machine with a brand that’s a bit more reliable.

Can’t get help
I loved this vacuum, until the app started giving me trouble and now I can’t change my auto empty setting. I tried deleting and reconnecting it. I tried to contact support and it just brings me to a page that says check FAQ. I try and click the videos and manuals page to see what to do and it brings me back to the page that says check FAQ. No number, no FAQ, no internet chat. It’s frustrating because I just want to be able to use my vacuum.
