  • Perfect App For Musicians

    This app is literally gold.

‘As a new iPad user and starting my undergraduate degree in music I love how you can seamlessly integrate tracking your practice into your iPad! My favorite part of this app is the andante widget where you can see right from your Home Screen your practice time with little circles. It allows you to stream line your practice and adds a visual to your practice routines.

The designs and simplicity of the app are so amazing and not cluttered!

The one thing I wish you could do is for the rings to represent user input of their practice time goals and track your own individual practice via your set goal. But it is a perfect app otherwise!

I recently upgraded to the pro version because its that good (coming from someone who only downloads free apps)
  • *Update: I wish I could give Andante 10 stars!

The calendar bug has been fixed! This is THE app to track practice. It looks better, works better and has better features than other apps that cost more than a tv streaming app EVERY MONTH. Why, when you can have this awesome app for a small one-time fee?!
  • 10 stars

i actually feel like this app motivates me to practice. it just makes it so convenient and easy. ive practiced every day for months bc of this app's streak. the free version does SO much but the one time $5 pro version purchase is a no-brainer. it's also just a beautiful layout/aesthetic in the app. very chill when i'm practicing. 10/10 would recommend
  • Intuitive, clean interface, I can choose harp

Been using this app for a year. It gives me everything I need without feeling bogged down. I use to it to record my practice session, jot down my notes, metronome, check my status/reports, etc.
  • So close to being perfect!

This app is absolutely amazing! It has really helped me keep track of my practicing and allows me to see a visual of what my practicing is like through the months. 3 changes I would make is to be able to pause a practice session, sometimes when I’m taking notes for a practice session, it doesn’t record all of them, and I play both piccolo, soprano flute, and alto, but there’s only one flute icon, so I can’t tell the difference between any of the records when looking at all of them unless I label them. I think that’s what’s keeping it from being a 5/5 for me.

Hey there, You can pause a session by tapping on the time :) Miles
  • Great Practice Tracker

I’m a junior in undergrad for clarinet performance, and I’ve always struggled with focused practice, but having a place to plan what I’m working on each day and track how I’m progressing has been very helpful. Plus, this app is very easy to use and has tons of helpful tools for musicians. Highly recommend!
  • Simplifies practice tracking

Overall a great app. Only a couple small complaints. One is that if you want to add on extra practice time you didn’t track, you can’t edit the session length until after you save it. Also, the stats ought to let you see the previous month/year, etc., not just calendar months/years—the “this month” feature isn’t very helpful if it’s the first of the month. On the whole, though, this app has streamlined my ability to keep records of my practice and I would recommend it.
  • Thank you for making this!!

This is such an awesome app! It gives me much more motivation to practice intentionally by reducing the barrier against doing so; for instance, I can decide to set a timer in the app and make my mental goal to ‘get this passage fluid in 10 minutes or less’, and use a metronome on the same screen. The timer is always there, counting down and reminding me that I have something to focus on. Even if I don’t achieve my goal, I have still spent 10 minutes narrowly focusing on a section, which is so much better than playing through a piece from beginning to end and wasting half of that time. The streak feature makes me have a fun reason to practice every day.
  • Just what I needed!

I’ve been expanding my piano repertoire and playing very often so this app is just perfect in helping me organize my practice sessions. I especially love that the app is so full featured even without the Pro purchase. That said, the Pro purchase adds a lot to the app and it’s just a one-time charge!

A few suggestions (even though I think it’s already a 5-star app): a Take A Rest alert, and the ability to track individual songs/exercises/techniques over time.

    Great app!
  • This app is so motivating!

I love this app so much and I love tracking practice with it. I find myself practicing more and I accomplish goals quicker. I would love it if there could be an update to the stats section that could show the day you’ve practiced the most time. If there could be some “friending” update, where you could add others who use the app and see how much they have practiced, it would improve the app greatly. Overall, this app is perfect for musicians and I will use it as long as I can.
