I love this podcast, I had no issue with pain the annual subscription to access all contact. However, this app needs a major overhaul. You really need to fix the filters that will allow you to see only your download it episodes or only unplayed episodes.
Allow the user to adjust the number of seconds for back and forward within the app.
Mark the exclusive episodes so that you can see which ones are exclusive when you’re looking at all episodes.
Please stop responding that you feel bad for people‘s experiences and actually take our feedback an update the app. Or find a way for me to import the shows into my Apple podcast app, like I can with Patreon.

It is like joining a coffee club paying for the month and guess what? There is no coffee. You will continue to pay 20 dollars a month and if there is no extra content you just paid and got nothing in exchange for you money. You can’t even get older extra content. What a waste of money: and paid and got nothing in exchange. Do not recommend ! In fact, i think I will no longer follow crime junkie. Very disappointed.

Hi there! Thank you for the feedback. Our bonus content back catalog (such as AMAs, headlines) is what is included in that annual membership. With a monthly membership, you will unlock the new bonus episodes as they're released each month. All of our wide release ad-free episodes are included in your membership, monthly or annual. Hopefully that clears up any confusion.The app isn’t working for me anymore. It won’t load any episodes regardless of my signal status on my phone. It’s super buggy and slow. May have to cancel my patreon <\3
This is mentioned in another review but I feel the need to reiterate that this app desperately needs the ability to filter out played episodes. With over 450 episodes included in my membership, it is getting really cumbersome having to scroll through to find which episode I left off on. I appreciate the ability to mark which episodes have been played but I’m disappointed this isn’t something you can filter or sort by. Please consider this update, Crime Junkie app developers!

I’ve been a Crime Junkie $5 tier member since 2018 and since the app changed it’s been impossible to get in or use. I had to cancel my membership, because it’s not worth $5/month when I have zero access to that tiers content. I just wish it would go back to the old apps before this one was created.
I wish this app had the feature to sort through the episodes you’ve already listened to. It would be much easier to find the content I haven’t heard yet. It would also be more helpful if you could sort by downloaded episodes when you’re out of service and no WiFi to find the episodes you’ve downloaded without scrolling.
These would make this app so much more user friendly!
App has not been working for a week. Just spins when I log in. Do not know how to fix this, I’ve deleted the app and relighted in but still isn’t working
Love CJ and am an annual patreon member but it’s a bummer the exclusive content isn’t available on standard podcast players. I like to listen on flights but often the downloads don’t work, or I get randomly logged out and can’t log back in on the flight, or the app won’t even open in airplane mode. Super frustrating for what I’ve paid for. It’s cool to see the photos and comments in the app but not worth it for the bugs.

I contacted someone for help and still haven’t heard back. I pay for patreon each month and can’t even listen to them half the time because the app won’t ever let me in. It’s constantly loading after sign in.
I love crime junkie, but it’s so frustrating that the app is CONSTANTLY having problems. Leaving for vacation and the app won’t let me in to listen to episodes we PAY FOR. Like come on guys I’m not the first to be on here complaining about not having access to what they pay for.
