The app is very poorly developed, with numerous bugs and non-working features. It constantly crashes. The chat with clients is inconvenient, and the chat with support is even worse. Moreover, Angi does not respect you as a professional. For them, clients are more important so they can make money off them—and off you! The functionality for professionals is extremely limited! As for the work, guys, do not work with Angi. They assign you jobs for very low pay. For example, if furniture assembly costs the client $120 on their website or partner sites, Angi will pay you only $40. That means Angi keeps more than 50% of your money. It’s unfair and a scam! The support team is incompetent. They cannot help you with anything and always claim they don’t know anything. To request additional time, you have to answer countless questions and repeat yourself over and over—why, how, when, what for, and why you need the extra time! Their response is always: “We can’t help you!” Another huge issue is the constant misinformation about the distance to clients. When they offer you a job, the app might say the client is 9 miles away. But after you accept the job, it turns out—according to Google Maps—that you actually have to drive 32 miles! This is blatant deception! This is the most inconvenient and worst app for professionals! Avoid it at all costs.
