Can’t link accounts

So far 50/50

App seems to work fine, but I’m yet to receive any point I’ve earned from purchases. Some have been sat pending for over 2 months!
If Virgin want red to compete with nectar or similar applying points to an account needs speeding up a lot, a week pending at most.

Good rewards

Easy to get loads of points on travel and hotels, lots ways to spend the points on a wide range of items.

The app

It takes a while to actually get the points on your account. I literally forgot about it until I see an ad for it and thought I’d check about 5-6 weeks after using it and see some points in my account, I’d give it 5 stars but there is no search function. Who doesn’t have a search function in this day and age? Unless I’m not seeing it somewhere? I see the categories but there is still some extensive lists in each one which I just can’t be bothered searching through.

A loyalty app

After losing all my Virgin Vaults points I downloaded this as I’m still a banking and media customer. This app doesn’t reward existing customers just a marketing gimmick to sign you up to new services, probably to get you to save points until they rebrand again. The app is poorly built as you’ll need to constantly login through their website on a browser. It’s a waste of time and space in my opinion and your probably better off with the likes of Quidco

Hi Annom. Virgin Vaults tokens would expire after a month. Our Virgin Red points never expire and we have lots of ways to earn points, including some great competitions and shopping through the app. We are working behind the scenes with our trusted partners to bring offers to existing as well as new customers so watch this space. Vanishing points and non working partners

Our points we were waiting for have disappeared very disappointing and when trying to earn points from the partners the tab to enter isn’t working so unable to make any more purchases to earn more points, have been in contact with virgin but they say they are unaware of the problem, I don’t believe we are the only people to encounter this problem!

Loving Virgin Red

The competitions in the new app are much better than the old Vaults app. And, I’ve won twice now. Never did in the old one. The access to sold out concerts is awesome. The small treats are perfect. And availability of flights with KLM, Air France and Virgin Atlantic open up the world! Love it.

No points for Virgin loyalty

Firstly I lost any points I had in my Virgin Vaults app which just vanished without notice. In fact you have to register again completely. There is no way to get points for your existing Virgin services here at all. I have full Virgin Media package , I’m a Virgin Active member joint with my partner, I have a Virgin Pure water bar, a Virgin mobile contract (plus the family on family plan) and there is no way to link any of the accounts and get rewards for having them. You can’t search for shops on here so if you popped into Argos you’d have to stand there scrolling down to find it. Then you’d head off to a web browser (instead of the app which you’re already logged into) to make your order. It’s all rather an illogical mess that reflects no loyalty for Virgin customers.

Useful to earn bonuses on my everyday shopping!

I like that I can choose between the app or the website and that it’s simple to earn ‘Virgin Points’ while I’m already doing shopping online eg at eBay, Argos and Etsy I’ve already earned points!
Also fab I think is the earning points on train travel through the app!! Keen to see what is added next in terms of the rewards.
