I was stuck in north Devon with the only option to charge being another companies chargers that force you to put in a minimum deposit before allowing you to charge; disgusting business ethic. Luckily, I was told about Electroverse before I went away and I could use their chargers through the Electroverse app. I put in my payment details and Electroverse only charged me for what I used, fantastic and the way every charging app should be. After charging for 2 hours, used the card to stop charging and released the cable, then checked the app only to find I was still being charged. Tried all the help page suggestions, then tried the hard cancel, still didn't work, then start phoning first the charger operator just to be told they have noted its stopped charging and its a problem with the app provider(elctroverse) Tried contacting help desk and gave up, then used the chat page and they sorted it out. 45 minutes of my days holiday spoiled.Show lessDeveloper Response
Hey Alan - oh no - we're sorry to hear this! For future reference, we've heard that unlocking and locking the car 7 times can often force disconnect a charger. You can also stop RFID sessions by tapping on the charger again, just in case. Ordinary app, doesn’t locate recharge points or use gps well. Failed to connect with other recharge provider, collects too much personal info. Look elsewhere.Developer Response
