Depositing Checks is a Pain

Old app was better. It automatically recognized the amount and taking pictures was easy. I have an iPhone 12 Pro and you now have to manually enter the amount of check, click through pop ups, turn the phone around and around until app recognizes it is in landscape mode, and then scroll until you find the hidden โ€˜submitโ€™ button. This is when the app works; which it didnโ€™t for a while. Meanwhile, I lose interest on savings. Only good thing is that adding payees to bill pay is now possible, but itโ€™s hidden and awkward to navigate. Thatโ€™s the only thing that needed to be fixed.

I only give it a 1 star because I can not give it 0. This app is hard to operate, itโ€™s confusing and nothing is right on display as it used to be. I would occasionally go to the webpage but felt it useless for myself. I truly loves the old app and this one has me NEVER wanting to use it..

New app not so user friendly as old app

Old app worked great could see when payments were needed new app doesnโ€™t show when loan payments are due. Not nearly as user friendly as the old app wish it had never changed

New Application Deployment

Not a very thorough test on IPhone deposit issues!! Very disappointed, the app was better before.

It seems like weโ€™re spending money on things that arenโ€™t providing real value. Provide more savings and money should be coming back to us, the Owners! :(

Please reduce expenses!

E-deposit

Making a deposit in the old app was easy. It might be the new app or because I changed to an Apple phone but it was much harder now .

Deposit

The deposit feature is not as friendly as the old. When turning my phone to take a picture of the check, I have to turn several times for the app to switch directions. This is extremely frustrating as a consumer.

Hard to navigate

Big fan of Deere Employees Credit union, but this app layout is the worst one that has been released. I have given it a chance before writing this review. I thought that maybe I just needed time to adjust. The app is not intuitive and is hard to find key pieces of information such as due dates, and the lack of testing before required release was very disappointing. I have always encouraged anyone eligible to use DCCU, but this release makes it difficult to keep recommending. The other element that is frustrating is that the desktop website has the same layout so the frustrations are identical. Canโ€™t wait for the next platform release ( hopefully that happens sooner than they have previously been done).

Deposits are painful

This new app is painful as it takes many tries to get it to accept deposits and the old one read the deposit amount whereas this one does not.

Not quick to sign out

Compared to the old app, you have to make 3 clicks to sign outโ€ฆ I also want to note that you can get a ton of info from the new app- act #, routing #, see your contact info.

New digital banking.

Love this new digital banking. Accounts are so easy to access!
