Actually, Hilokal is my favorite app out of the many I have tried for REAL learning and not only “social talking”.
There are real lessons, the kind you will not find many of on the other apps.
There are many useful features which may take a little time to learn how to use, but it is worth it.

This app employs an antisemitic Muslim person as a moderator.
When I was banned for the first time, it was because I opened a table(this app’s voice chat room) with a title saying “Shalom”(Hello) written in Hebrew alphabet. When I appealed, Justice Fox replied that I have “violated the guideline”.
So I started to take screenshots of Justice Fox’s ridiculous behaviour everytime I got unfairly banned and given no clear explanation.
Since then I got banned more than a dozen times, and the reasons are all similar. Justice Fox followed me around and banned my account whenever there was anything related to Hebrew language or Israel.
For example, when I used a picture of an Israeli flag, I got banned for “spreading hatred”.
I have discovered that many other users experience similar treatment from Justice Fox, who is apparently a Muslim woman. I wonder how this app being a Korean company has managed to employ an extremist Muslim Jihadist to be their moderator. Strange.
I hope they understand that Hilokal is a company registered in South Korea, and operate under the liberal democratic constitution of South Korea, NOT under Islamic Sharia Law of wherever the country Justice Fox comes from. This is a clear abuse and illegal activity. Now Justice Fox has banned my account permanently after I demanded her to explain herself. I am going to send all the evidence collected to South Korean journalists, so they will investigate how this app is being antisemitic and abusing users’ human rights of freedom of thoughts and expression, based on their highly unprofessional moderator’s personal extremist Islamic bias. Good luck, Dave the developer. Wait to hear from the court.
