Great app, 1 issue

Overall, the app is great. I’ve found a bug when setting a goal 1RM for any exercise.

The goal will be reached as soon as any set of any weight is logged, even if it doesn’t meet the 1RM goal.

Response from developer

Thanks for the review, we have fixed this bug

Mostly great

Love this app but I found a couple things don’t work. When you try to save an existing workout as a template, it says it’s been saved but when I go to look for it later, it’s not in there. App also glitches a lot, have to close and reopen often during my workouts

Response from developer

jdnrbejxb, thank you glad you like the app, we have fixed creating a template from a workout

Confusing and hard to use

The UI is not good, I can’t create a workout from a template, instead of selecting the template to use it just enters the template editor again. There’s no point in having templates if the only thing I can do is edit them and not use them. Maybe I’m just doing something wrong, but there’s no way to know therefore the app is hard to use and confusing, like the description says

Bpb97, please press the Log button in the template list or at the top of the template editor to put the template into the workout

Can’t Workout Without!

I have been an Android user since 2009 and discovered FitNotes many years ago. I have been using the app consistently and then once I found out that the same app was not on the AppStore when I switched to iOS I was devastated. Luckily, this app has all of the same functionality and even allows import/export of your old data from android! I am beyond excited to have this app functionality available on iOS. The only downside is that the app is much more expensive. You have to consider if the cost of the app is worth it to you or if you’re willing to stick to some other method to track your workout. To me, it’s worth it.

Beat fitness tracker

No extra stuff, just tracks what you’re doing. Easy to use, UI is excellent. Paid for a lifetime license.

Thank you!

unusable after three weeks

cant use it after three weeks unless you cough up a monthly charge.

Not free

Surprise surprise, you’ll suddenly find yourself blocked from entering anymore if you don’t pay the subscription fee.

I’ll give it one thing. It’s less expensive than others for a more flexible product. I’ll begrudgingly pay for it, but because I don’t wanna start over on a different app.

Great app to track workouts

I’ve been using this app consistently now for 4 years. I started on android version and just recently found the iOS now that I’m on Apple. Simple to use, love the historical data and making sure I can see my progress with weight, sets and reps. Highly recommend. Would be cool if it had a social aspect like Strava.

Tried a couple different gym trackers and this one is the best I’ve found.
