Scan, crop and export with ease
First update: scanning has been simple, but I’m needing to work more to identify if it’s technique or limitation with some intricate details I’m going for… the elusive 5th star when I work out that the hardware/user is the cause. Cropping is a welcome function when working in 3D spaces! Exporting in multiple formats is fast and easy. Developer taking note of store feedback and responding is a bonus!
Original 1-star review: iPhone 13 Pro not actually supported - Even though the device is listed as supported, it won’t go past the demo screen (intended for devices without LiDAR). Looking forward to updating the review when working :)Show lessProdigy3023

Hi. There was a bug in Scaniverse where it failed to detect LiDAR support on the iPhone 13 Pro. We're very sorry about that. We have fixed the issue, and an update is now available in the App Store. Isn’t letting me use the app on my 13 Pro Max… telling me I don’t have LiDAR…
UPDATE: the new updated version that came out did fix this problem and now app is MUCH better.

The app was finally fixed, so I upped my rating. I feel like these apps aren’t quite up to where the tech is, so I’m giving it 4 stars for now. I hope updates in the future allow me to up this to 5, because it’s very fun to play with.AversaS
Doesn’t recognize iPhone 13 pro
Now that it works on the iPhone 13 Pro I got a chance to run it through its paces a little bit. It really works remarkably well though it is definitely resolution limited such that you can’t really scan small objects that are just a foot or two across with any level of detail. Still it’s quite impressive and I look forward to seeing how I can experiment with these assets in AR.Show lessRobertInLA

I’ve been trying to scan some things smaller than a cubic foot and it handles them alright. I’m a bit perplexed how it does a better job with shorter scans.Majin Tenshi
Showed promise, but doesn’t work with new phones
The app was interesting and had some encouraging results with my iPhone 12 Pro Max, but does not work with iPhone 13 Pro Max. Visited the developer’s site to find out about an update, and last update is a note from over a month ago announcing they’ve sold out. Pity.Trilo
Not working on iPhone 13 Pro
I just setup my new iPhone 13 Pro with LiDAR eager to try this app, but I’m only presented with a demo scan and a message that LiDAR is required. To be fair, it is the launch day for the 13 Pros, but I hope the app is updated soon to recognize the new phones.VSilva62
Ok for real, this is the best.
This app allowed me to export my scans as FBX for FREE. On top of that i could regulate the quality of the scan and crop it. This app is perfect. I almost paid for polycam and it is no where close to as good as this. Made my day and saved me monies.

Scans aren’t good but better than most
Tech is obviously still not there yet. Tried several scans of objects and small areas and Images do not come out as displayed at all. I’d like to see the scan reviews some people are giving 5 stars of because its a bit hard to believe
