  • It just ok

Amazing when it works. But to often the app won’t connect to the devices.
  • Not as user friendly as the original app but it works

I have been a pax user for over 5 years now. I have owned the pax 2, pax 3 and two pax eras. I haven’t used my pax 2 or 3 in a while so when I got the pax era I was excited to link it to the app the see it’s capabilities. Found out the dropped their old app for the new one. Figured it would be a great update. And it might be. It just seems a bit less user friendly this time

  • Pax collects an Obscene Amount Of Your Data

As I went through the steps to connect my PAX era to the app I began to feel uneasy… Something felt sketchy. I then decided to read the privacy policy and WOW! It’s pretty outrageous . Take a look for yourself . I just want to enjoy the device . Is that so much to ask ? Even the wording of the policy is worded in a sleazy manner . Not into it ….

  • The Pax New App is a violation of your privacy

So if you’re a Pax user, now you have to connect to the Pax servers to use their vaporizer! That means anytime you use the Connect app to vaporize your product the folks at Pax know! They’ll know where, when & how much! The following is right off their website; “ We take your privacy seriously and understand it is important to you. When you use the app, and when you pair your PAX Product to the app, we collect data to” Now that the app doesn’t work unless you connect to Pax servers their vaporizers are useless. So now you can’t use the app if there is no internet. Why on earth would anyone allow a company to monitor when, how many times, where & how much you smoke?

  • Pax Fault?

So I use this app so I can use my Pax Era and Era Pro. Recently upgraded to the Pax Era Pro ($40 increase) only to find out there is no option to change the light color and Paxfinder is missing. When I setup my Era Pro for the first time it gave me the option to turn on Paxfinder and for that 1 day it worked, I was able to track my Era Pro, but for some reason that feature has since disappeared. I would also like to point out that with my original Pax Era, I can change the light color, yet that’s suppose to be a feature exclusive to the Era Pro. So I’m not sure who’s to blame?

  • It does exactly what it’s intended to do

Downloaded and installed , Enabled Bluetooth connectivity, followed the onscreen directions , connected and set up the device .
The app works flawlessly for its intended purpose .
  • Did not work for me

I can’t get the app to move on after it says it’s connection. It stays on a blank website page. I deleted and downloaded like 10 times.
  • Glad it’s here, wish it was better

The recent pages never seems to have any history available. So I’m constantly typing the address I need to go to. Better than not having access, but still a little frustrating.
  • Can’t please everyone all the time and some you can’t please no matter what you do

Seems to work great as intended. It may just be that you don’t quite know how to use it. It worked fine for me in the first try on my iPhone 12pro. When the blank page loads, you have to click in the box at the top and replace the “about:blank” with the url you want to go to. As long as you agreed to let this app connect to your device via Bluetooth and type/enter the correct url, you should be all set. Of course make sure that your phone is updated with the latest iOS first. Then consider updating your review of bashing the app because you didn’t do your research first and learn how to use it.
Then there are those that b^tch and whine that each time you leave the app and come back, that you have to reconnect or because the main page is blank when you load it at first. Ok, stop whining! At least you have a way to access your device from your phone or tablet and not have to get on your laptop every time!! Stop b^tching and show a little gratitude! FFS…
