Wouldn’t normally do reviews but….
The app was simple from login, kept things easy to use throughout but best of all when making a change to the policy it was all done in the app. I’m used to sitting on hold for 20 mins to be charged to add a change (number plate) but on the app it took 1 minute with no charge. Thank you!
Horrendous Insurance Company

The most terrible insurance company has ever existed. There is no customer service and nobody to respond even after days. The app automatically renews your policy at a higher price and when you try to cancel renewal before expiration date, will face different errors, ultimately pushing you to unintended renewals and extra charges . I also sent an email to complain service and explained the technical issues but didn’t receive any response after a week. It’s absolutely a junk service you will ever see in your whole life.

Verification of photo ID with your selfie.
In case if you don’t upload the iD in short time, but they won’t tell you how much time you have. They will cancel your policy. Without sending you email or text or call. So if you are waiting for driving license because of any reason don’t bothered. My iD came days before the policy start and I was simply unable to upload them. They don’t care if you will stay. They expect you to get another quote that cost twice as much.

My car was in a flood a couple of weeks ago - after soon realising marshmallow fully intended in dragging their feet on validating my claim relating to this and were content on leaving me and thus my family without a car for at least a few weeks I went out and got another.
However, since forking out on this Marshmellow are desperately trying to cancel my policy or “trip me up” in regards to my claim on the flooded car (worth just around £2500). First they insinuated my car was not taxed and didn’t accept any evidence I provided until I gave them an undeniable amount and now they are sending cancellation notifications for “speeding” although I highly contest one of the occurrences - I never knowingly drive 20mph over the limit and the other I was a passenger (indicating the unsuitability of their app). Bare in mind their app rates my driving style ‘pro’ and I had no such need for speed before the claim.
I must say, many of the first line representatives I’ve spoke to on the app have been exceedingly helpful. However, the company is not interested in providing the service advertised, just lining its pockets - only to desperately reel out of an agreement at any unethical expense when required to honour it. Stay away, I wish I had read the reviews before taking my policy out with them.

I am so sorry you felt we were trying to trip you up before settling your claim, this certainly wasn't our intention. However, we do need to follow certain protocols when reviewing a claim in order to make sure that all the information we hold is accurate. I am pleased to see your total loss claim was settled in full last month. I note you have raised a concern about the functionality of the Miles app. Please do reach out to one of our customer service agents so that we can troubleshoot this for you.

Hi Hannah, I am sorry to hear that your claim has taken longer than your expectations. Unfortunately, if a car spontaneously combusts, as in your case, we do have to carry out various time-consuming investigations into the possible cause. As you know, Mercedes now want to assess your car as it appears an electrical fault was the cause of the fire. However, in the meantime, our independent assessors have deemed your car a total loss. I can see Zara has been helping you and that we are preparing your settlement so that you are in a position to buy a replacement car asap.

I forgot to add my personalised plate, so the nice policeman told me off. While he was there I logged in and changed the number and I didn’t get a no insurance ticket. Perfect.
