Terrible App

Is this even a legit BDO app? Tried entering my information ONCE and it immediately said wrong password entered multiple times. I had to make a new one and still can’t log in.

Why do I have to go to an ATM to activate the app?

If you have no access to an ATM, you can’t use this app. Like, why? The point of using online banking is so you don’t need to go inside the bank or use an ATM. BDO is the only bank who have carefully thought of making its customers’ accounts secure, at the price of inconvenience. I can’t follow the thought process of online banking but you need to go to an ATM. Just to activate an app. Perhaps on your next app upgrade, you can add a feature to activate an app by identity verification online as well?

Beware

Useless App

Downloaded it. Tried to log in and error message said that I’ve attempted several time and account is temporarily locked! WTH

Can’t login.

Logged into desktop - no problem.
Logged into mobile app - no problem, no failed attempts.
Tried logging into new BDO Online app, first try response is too many failed attempts and account is now locked.

Another user that can’t log in

App doesn’t recognize one or the other (user name or password). The combo works on the web app… It’s more fun…

Worst App Ever

Update to this App from the previous old version and this app doesn't allow me to log in even after changing my password 5 times!!! Big inconvinience to people. Need to change banks!!!!!

Still The Worst Banking App

@CBG Digitial Banking / Online Enrollment team: PLEASE. I’m currently overseas. I have sent all the necessary documents multiple times in the past, I almost send these guys an email or two every month. This one request to change my mobile number in their system has been going on for almost a YEAR! AND IT IS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING AND A TOTAL WASTE OF MY TIME only not to hear back from anyone. And please, before you do, just stop apologizing and telling me to be patient, just completely skip that part. I’ve been very understanding and patient this past year with COVID and all, but holy crap, it’s been 8 months! I have called and emailed and I’ve been told the same exact things, “I’m sorry” “Please be patient.” “We’re still working on your request” “Oh, they closed your case because one of your documents is not valid.” They closed my case without telling me what’s wrong, and I wouldnt know about if I didnt call. Even the worst government facilities have caught up to the backlog caused by the pandemic!

Seriously, if you don’t want to deal with your clients emails, at least offer a self-service option in your silly little app to remove a phone number that’s no longer in use. Jesus Christ! There are several other ways to verify one’s information without having to email you every single time or send you the same exact documents with the same information. You say you do this for security purposes, yet hackers still outsmart you somehow. 🙄

I haven’t had access in my account/mobile app for MONTHS! I literally have no clue how much money is in there and how much is being/has been taken out. Worst app ever!
