I only joined for the advance

I only joined for the cash advances, and quite honestly I wish I never did. The fees they charge are astronomical, and they don’t even tell you which transaction the fees are from. Then there is the supposed cash back rewards, which is hit or miss. Sometimes they pay you and sometimes they don’t. When they don’t give you the cash back, and you submit a ticket for the issue they respond back with check the Terms, and even after I checked the terms and the category that they are claiming that they can’t pay me for is clearly listed in their terms that is payable. So even though it’s stated that they will pay for them they never do.

The only thing I actually like is the cash advance option, but they ask you to send them a tip when you get one which I find completely obnoxious, because even after you decline it and say no, they try to sneak it in a second time and the end of the cash advance process. Why do I need to tip a company for a service that they offer but it’s also a service that I have to pay to use and you still think that I need to tip you!

Had an awful experience.

Absolutely awful, I rarely write reviews, let alone negative ones but my experience with b9 has been awful. After these awful experiences I attempted to remove my b9 from my direct deposit and it gave me multiple issues, next pay day came around and all my money went to my b9 account... I tried to transfer to another account and it's taken 6 days and no luck. I've tried contacting customer support and my my first ticket for assistance got closed with no response, second one I was told to go to the FAQ for assistance, went to it and found nothing to help me with my problem after scrolling through each section 3-5 times each. Opened another ticket and once again got ignored, ticket closed with no help. Absolutely awful and I'll recommend staying away from this app, you might not have the same experience but I know I'll never touch this service again and tell all my friends to stay away and advocate for them to never use this garbage service.

Customer Service Needs Polishing

Hello PNC Bank, I am a first time customer I switched over from Chime banking their customer service is great but I don’t like some of their banking techniques so I thought I’d try something different so I switch to you. You have some of the worst Customer Service I have ever experienced, I was talking to someone today and I wasn’t even through with my sentence and he hung up on me mid sentence. I don’t understand this. I wasn’t even finished with what I was saying and he thought I was done. This is not acceptable. It is rude by far. It wasn’t an accident. I know it wasn’t, it was done on purpose and you can tell by the tone of your employees. They’re not happy you need some work done with your employees. They sound very annoyed or unhappy. You need to do something about this note from Chime. They make their own plays some very happy and happy to be at work, sound like they enjoyed their job and enjoyed their customers. I can’t say that for them maybe you should pay your employees a little more. Thank you for listening.

Great service and excellent customer service and care. Definitely have recommended this amazing service to our worldwide family and associates!! We gonna continue to support you guys and gals and keep letting the community know we don’t have to continue to let the banking companies keep overcharging us for a poor customer service that only benefit them as a whole, so my job is and has been since day one is to pass along to our people that a new company that has come along that actually has shown and proves that they care for their customers with a service that is second to none. SALUTE!! Thank you for all you do to provide assistance to our community worldwide who needs from time to time a helping hand that isn’t covered with mud. My family has had many unexpected Hardships over the last few years. If it wasn’t for your numerous benefits for opening an account and sending my Direct Deposits to you, I wouldn’t have been able to travel to take care of my mother and provide her with what she needed. It has been and B9 has been a Tremendous Help to my entire family. The flexibility I had in receiving my money ahead of time and getting advances to help with all my unexpected life issues. I can’t thank you enough for the early paychecks, advancements, receiving rewards and continually improving and upgrading your app and always striving to give us ways to lower our fees….has been the only way I could be with my loved ones! There Fraud’s. It feels like a scam

So first after u download the app u have to connect your bank account/debit card,
Because they make you sign up on a monthly plan to use the APP in the first place ($9.99) is the basic plan. After that u realize u have to set up your direct deposit to get any kind of advance. Im not doing that so im deleting my account and the APP. But wait before u can delete your account u have to “wait for your account to be fully set up” before u cant delete it. THATS WHAT IT TELLS YOU. After u reach out to support and ask them to do, all they do is refer to a help guide, lol instead of them doing it themselves. Ok u say i will just remove my bank account so i cant get charge for another month of service im not using. THEY DONT LET U DELETE YOUR BANK INFORMATION OR DEBIT CARD. I CANT EVEN FIND WHERE TO DO THAT BECUSE THATS HOW THEY DESIGNED THE APP. As im writing this im current trying to reach out to support to delete my account thats been set up almost 2 weeks now and its going on 1 week since ive been trying to delete the account. STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP

When you first open an account with us, the closure button isn't available for the first 5 days. This is because your account is still in the process of being fully set up. However, after the initial 5 days, you can easily close your account by navigating to your Profile and selecting the Close account option. Our team always recommends that clients handle account closures themselves so they can ensure a smooth process within the app. On top of that, I'm happy to let you know that your first month with B9 is complimentary. The first membership fee will only be charged one month later, and only if there are sufficient funds in your account. So no need to worry about any immediate charges. Exactly what I needed.

This app provides me the flexibility of a bank, but the benefits of Cash Advance app. It was extremely easy to transfer from my bank to this app. I didn’t have to do a thing. They took care of it with payroll and the next pay period I was using B9. When I was having an issue with getting access to my funds, support was quick to resolve the issue and offer me many solutions. When that didn’t work, they got right back to me and help me solve the problem. I appreciate the help as access to my money is an extreme importance to my ability to function as a person and a parent.
So far so good I am pleased and excited about this new way of managing my money.

I have had many prepaid cards, and I did like a few of them and was with 1 for a very long time. However, B9 is by far the very best. I love their cashback as fast, accurate no lies no cheats is exactly as it says. Their advancements is awesome. They reward you with perfect advancements. The only concern I have and it’s not a huge concern always keep my cards locked, always have I always will. I do not open them unless I’m using them and nobody ever gets on my phone and I have a phone lock anyways, even if they tried, so there was a few times a transaction was completed with my card being locked that is not supposed to happen with or without my permission. It doesn’t matter if I gave permission. It is not supposed to happen if your card is locked that means no transactions I see that the only issue needs to work harder on making sure that does not happen. Also, after I’ve repaid my advancement and got a new advancement hours later B9 try to take that payment that I’ve already paid out again. I talked to support. They said they couldn’t find no processing repayment, but it was trying to take out for the second time for the same amount that I just paid again and again it’s not a huge issue because I contacted support and it didn’t happen again so they’re really good about getting back to you and fixing the issue in the problem so only thing I see them may need just a little bit more work on is transactions being made locked trying to take out same payment twice

Don’t Do It - Huge Fees

I signed up for this app to try to get a payday loan like I have on many other services. There’s no other way to describe how disgusted I am with my experience. You charge huge fees for the most basic of services and then your advance is only 30$$ are you kidding me ???? And I couldn’t get an advance until AFTER payday which I didn’t even need it anymore once I’d been paid so it defeated the whole purpose. So then I tried to move my money that was direct deposited into this horrible account back into my actual bank and your system refused to do it without taking 3% of my money which doesn’t sound like a lot unless you know how much money I am trying to move but it’s a huge fee. So I said okay anyways because I want my money in an account that is useable that I can spend it in and it wouldn’t even send my money with me paying the fee. It just says error and keeps sending me back to the same screen. I want my money out of this account and this account off my direct deposit from my job for work immediately. I don’t even know how direct deposit got set up. This was supposed to lend me money and then when I got my direct deposit take the money back. I never set up for money to just go to this account. This is wild. I will be reporting this experience on many platforms where I do many reviews on many things so people will know how scam like this app is.
