I love this bank
I have had many different types of credit building/advance pay apps but this is an actual bank with debit cards. They’ll even issue a virtual card until your physical debit cards arrives! Since day one I have had access to my money. I recently took out an advance just to see if it really is as advertised and it is. It was easy and the money was deposited immediately into my account. I am a permanent user now, and I came from Current bank, and I also use Wells Fargo and the fees at B9 are lower in my opinion. Also, my paycheck arrived 4 days early. I’m paid on the 7th and 22nd, and my checks have been depositing the 2nd and 18th!!! Can’t complain about that.Show lessKimEarnheart

I use this app as a savings basically. I put a portion of my check into it and it’s slightly difficult to get money out. I can putt under $100 to my cash app or to make purchases but it typically declines if it’s over 1-200. Sounds bad, but I enjoy not being able to spend the money so easily.
It may be a setting issue with my account so don’t think it’s not worth it. I just haven’t cared to look into it yet since I’m hiding money from myself here!
App is very easy to use and you can take out advances, they are not large amounts but can help with some gas or groceries.Show lessCurtis 44

B-9 a cpl years Review in One
It started as a almost poorly designed app with not much for customer service. But now it has evolved into the almost perfect internet bank; except for the inability to be plaid verified.. CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS STEPPED IT UP A FEW NOTCHES; More nice little add ons and payday loans no interests but after a few months the mandatory tip popped in and the service charges take over a little bit higher rates then they should.. but I still use it; a cpl years now. I hope they do a few more thing for their customers ease and convenience; but I recommend to anyone that ever needs their money a few days faster than everyone else; and a cash advance. They do only allow 2 week inbetween payments so if ur paid once a month thru benefits u will get a smeared record for that fact. That is the only reason I gave them less stars. But I am eager to see if they give me a reason to give them 5 stars in the upcoming monthsShow lessFaustineEffie

B9 has offered me $5 to rate them, so here goes. Like anything else, this app has pros and cons. It does advance funds if your direct deposit is connected to your account. However, beware of the $2.50 charge every time you use a digital wallet, or any kind of p2p transaction on any app. I had my account with B9 well before they started charging for these, and was never notified about it until I started noticing all of these random $2.50 transactions in my account. When I contacted customer service, they informed me that it’s listed on their website under the terms and conditions. I explained to them that was not the case when I signed up. At that point, they changed direction and claimed an email was sent to all account holders explaining that all digital wallet transactions would carry a charge going forward. I never received any email of the sort and am very unhappy with the way my money has been taken in this manner from the company I trusted with my hard earned funds without any notice whatsoever.Show lessMaHog159

I have been a user of the b9 app for about 6 months now and have found it to be easy to use. I have my pay direct deposited to my account which was very easy to set up. I put my information in and they set up my direct deposit up with my payee automatically. I receive my money two to three days early every month which is great. The fees are very reasonable and you are able to withdraw 1000 dollars a day with two withdrawals free. You can transfer money by ach to other bank accounts for free in a matter of a couple of days or instantly transfer money for a small fee if needed. You get a visa debit card that is chip enabled that I have not had any problems using. I am a very happy customer of this company and would recommend to all.Show lesskeithaslater

I have been on this app for a while! In love how convenient the advances are for those rainy days! I am also happy that my I get my paycheck sooner than my actual pay date.
Another great thing about b9 is the cashback feature, when you spend money on certain items, restaurants, transportation and etc you will earn some money back. I think it is really cool to have the opportunity to earn that money back for those things.
If you ever need help with anything pertaining your account the b9 help is always there with a fast response and solution for any problem. Choosing b9 has been the best decision I have ever made and I will continue to use it and tell everyone I know about it. 10/10 recommend! B9 is seamless. They give you options to help build your credit, as well as support for getting you out of a financial bind when needed. Funding is immediate and there’s no “red tape” to get through before you receive the advance. There’s no silly crazy interest fees, which makes this a way better option than a payday loan. They are transparent and up front about everything, and their customer service is always willing to help!
B9 also offers different cash back tiers, which you can choose monthly. They are always looking for feedback to improve their service and offerings.
It’s not often you find a company so eager to provide great customer service these days. They are a modern company with up to date values and operating models. With this, they’re sure to gain business over and over again. They’re not out to make money on overdrafts and fees, they’re simply just a service for the people. No price gouging and shady tactics.
I wish more businesses would take note and model themselves on customer service, appreciation, and honesty.

This B9 app! I guess soon as I decided to switch back to my original direct deposit account they gone take money that I earned from employer and bills that I paid through their account system. What I’m saying is whatever bills that I paid through this account they took it back all of sudden I’m payments behind out of the blu and I don’t miss payments at all I got good credit history I’m never late on payments but these folks are third party scammers then I have to wait 2 payment cycles just for y’all to leave me in pieces this is disrespectful customer service they in it for the money not the safety of the public this is not financial freedom more like a stock market to them and their not sorry either so keep whatever speech your gonna respond to this just do the right thing and let those payments that I made through this account go through cause dats ridiculous ain’t no way my payment was confirmed then a week later soon as I switch my direct deposit all the money that was in that account.
