Poor business
They take advantage of people that need work, the pay is the lowest off all apps , they penalize you if you can’t make the delivery, I got penalized for re-lesting but the customer was the one that put the wrong address! Much further then it was posted. This apps are making money while you waste gas , time, and just putting in work to your vehicle , if you add the numbers your just getting almost nothing ! Plus you will have to file taxes after an amount won . Your making these people rich and are not going to make any money. It’s the 2022 kind of slavery.Show lessCB M.O.A

It’s a simple platform for side gigs, easy to use and complete jobs with. The only thing that I would change is their penalties for cancelling on a trip when the client changes details. If details are changed last minute, then there should be the option to cancel without penalties.315_Glock

They take almost 50% of the price on every job. Dolly support never answer the emails or calls. If you had a luck they answer but unfortunately this guy’s don’t have the minimum idea of the jobs and don’t help in nothing! bedrooms 1300 sqf fill apartment move which 10 miles apart from pick up 4 flights of stairs / drop had 3 flights of stairs as well 2 men 1 box truck bid won for $200 well we completed dolly in 5 hours an had to split the 200 when I used my box truck what ever so when I was about to head home customer ask me how Dolly pay u guys $100 a peace she started laughing an said wow I paid

This is a company were talking about here but they want us to pay for our own background check. I believe they forgot they are trying to hire us not the other way arounduwla818
Set for the benefit of the company not the helpers
This is another app primarily set up to protect the company itself and it’s interests rather than doing right by the helpers. Also BEWARE THE TEAMS SCAM. When you have someone (like a spouse) who can work with you, they’ll tell you to setup as a team rather than an individual helper and hands. When you do this, you get paid LESS than when you register separately. This is a ploy to make more money for the company. Those savings are not passed on to the customer.
Beyond this, job descriptions and sizes are often inaccurate. Support claims quick response times but average 3-24hrs. Sometimes they don’t respond at all. Decent money can be made but you’ll have to deal with the frustrations. Also, dolly posts pay rates low and only increases to what they are able to pay if no one takes the job. They make massive profits by lowballing us contractors.Show lessjdh1994.
Expect to be threatened by the people you work with
Ive been working for Dolly the past year and today is the end of that.
Most of the other people I’ve been assigned to work with (other “Hands”) have been perfectly find. Today (9/6/22), the individual i was scheduled with decided to threaten me when i started suggesting better ways to move the customers belongings because things were getting damaged. The customer even asked for more care to be taken. When I contacted Dolly support (something they make close to impossible to do) they simply said they’d make a note of it and I wont be scheduled with him anymore. I left immediately sacrificing pay as the support agent wasn't helping.

They give u low rates they don’t help u when u need it the customer service line NEVER picks up and they lowball u on jobs after the last experience I had with dolly I never want to work with them again !shevhem
Terrible
They make you pay $25 to start. Every job that gives a notification keeps saying it’s already taken and when you do request one, it never gets approved to work. A complete scam and waste of $25. Stay away from this app.Cadence_96
