Works as described

Would love to have a feature that allows the fan to run in a circulate mode. Some will run 20 minutes an hour.

Not smart at all

ComfortMaker system purchased in 2020. It worked great, until it didn’t. We have already had to replace the thermostat. You apparently can’t get a different model or switch to an old school thermostat. Ion is power cycling the AC every 7 minutes. The dealer we bought our ac/furnace from sold his company and the new owner was less than helpful. We called another company out but they didn’t have the contract with Ion so another company came out multiple times and finally replaced the thermostat but the unit is still power cycling. This has been going on since 9/3/23… Buyer Beware! I expected more than 2 years and 9 months when purchased.

Excellent remote control

The app is as or more convenient than using the thermostat directly. Best is the ability to monitor and control while conducting service or while away.

HomeKit Feature availability? H&L outdoor temps on Home Screen

It’s already 1/4 into the year and we haven’t heard anything from ICC about HomeKit availability for this thermostat. Previously, it was written here that it is on the roadmap, so is it 2024??! 4.56 on the wall control was released today, and zero release notes to be found! 🤷🏼‍♂️

The home screen where it shows the outdoor weather should show both the high and the low for the day!

Okay but not current with others

Stat looks good and works well. Lacks basic features like indoor humidity display. It can be seen from the app but not on the wall display. If I don’t use the app for a few days, I have to log in again, then the app tells me the stat is offline (it is not) exit the app wait a few minutes and reopen and it will show online. The worse thing is it only communicates through email and NOT text. Icp, needs to take some lessons from ecobee, make the app look just like the stat. Give it a text option for communications.

Pretty Good, But

No matter what cost you assign to a kWH of electricity, the app just uses $.10. Who tests this before it’s released?

It would be swell if you could edit a vacation when plans change instead of deleting it and making a new vacation instance.

Otherwise pretty decent.

Vacation settings

Only fault with app is I cannot seem to alter the vacation settings originally entered into the wall thermo. Otherwise app is good.

Navigation enhancements and add one missing item please.

I really like the apps features. I found everything I need to remotely configure or change the functionality of my gas/heat pump system. However, it is not very intuitive where to find everything.

One item seems seem left out yet it is a simple display item. On the controller you know if the gas furnace or heat pump is supplying the heat. It is important to know when the system is running in System in Control mode. This display is not in the app that I can find. Can you include this in an upcoming release please?

App Loses Communication With Stat

This app works great until it doesn’t. Honestly don’t know if this a review of the app or the stat, but I would say at least once a quarter things look fine in the app but when I check the stat it’s a totally different temperature range. If that didn’t happen this would be mostly great. Would like them to add more schedule entries (max is 5), and maybe even another comfort profile (currently 4)

Not great

This app is pretty terrible compared to other thermostat apps. We had ecobee, which was awesome, but installed HVAC systems that worked with this app last year. Very limited functionality and not intuitive. Study ecobee (or any other thermostat app) and strive for better functionality. Wish we could go back to ecobee.
