Safest workout I’ve done!

Update: years later this is still the one workout I come back to consistently, it works regardless of where I’m at in life, it’s like it just meets me where I am! I never feel out of control or unable to do the moves with this program. So thankful it exists! I also appreciate how they continue to add value into the program while maintaining a very affordable monthly cost!

I’m an ex dancer with bad knees that have been made worse over the years through rigorous HIIT workouts. I never thought I’d find a fitness program that focused on lifting weights that also didn’t come with constant knee aggravation and feeling stressed and depleted during and post workout. After my first week of foundations on Evlo I was so excited and actually looking forward to the workouts. I am so thankful to have found a fitness routine that focuses on and incorporates weight lifting for muscle building in a very manageable way!

Best workout program

This review is long overdue, I can’t say enough good things about Evlo! I’ve been a member for just over a year & will be a lifelong member (currently in my late 20’s). This is the first workout I’ve been able to stick with for so long- I’ve always bounced around either because I didn’t enjoy a workout or wasn’t seeing any results. Evlo is different on both counts - I truly love the workouts, they’re effective and challenging but somehow have the vibe of a Pilates or yoga class. On top of feeling good like many reviews mention, my body composition has improved. I saw results within the first few months (I am consistent with workouts and follow the nutrition guidance in Evlo for body recomp). I’ve lost fat and gained muscle and feel amazing! I’ve tried weight lifting in the past but couldn’t stick with it, I was bored during workouts and I didn’t have the education on form, how to approach failure, etc. I have learned so much from Evlo and highly recommend listening to the podcast as well (start with her earlier episodes and building muscle and body recomp!). Life changing program, worth every penny!

Worth Every Penny

This is by far the best fitness app I’ve tried. I cancelled my gym membership and fully committed to this app after using it for 3 months straight. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing but it’s also incredibly user friendly. You get to pick what schedule works for you and then the app automatically updates the class each day based on the track you chose. You can either choose to follow the circuit and mark each move as completed or you can follow along with video which has a feature to select the genre of music you want playing in the background as well as what volume! There is a calendar indicating how many weeks you’ve done and when you might want to take a rest week (which you can set to your preference) there are additional cardio, stability, mobility, and meditation classes even an entire track for pregnant women from 1st to 3rd trimester. They offer nutritional education videos and access to the Dr. Shannon podcast which provides all of the science behind the workouts without any ads 😍 I do not have a single complaint about this app.

The best programming!

Absolutely adore this fitness programme. Unlike any other and waaaaaaaay better than group fitness or gym! Instructors and so personable and always feels like working out with a friend. Love the different styles of classes and the different programs to follow depending on life at that time. I’ve managed to up my strength and stay consistent over a year and half, and don’t intend on stopping anytime soon. Absolutely the best!

Love love love these work outs and you ladies

I absolutely love your workouts and you lovely ladies. Thank you for motivating me to be consistent with my workouts and giving me permission to listen to my body. I struggle to be consistent but I’ve been successful lately thanks to your program (and guidance). I’ve now started to notice that my strength is improving and slowly gaining more motivation. Thank you for being so engaging and encouraging in the gentlest and most therapeutic way

Most consistent results ever!

I’ve been using Evlo now for over a year and I must say, it’s blown me away. Not only has it created the most consistent change ever in my body but I’m working out less, eating more and feel incredibly solid in my mindset around fitness and exercise. I’m no longer feeling like I need to do more ALL the time and I’m seeing the same, if not better results than I got in previous programs. When I turned 40 I noticed that what I was doing wasn’t working anymore. I found myself on a constant cycle of eat less and workout more. I decided to trust Shannon’s process and although my muscle gains started out slow, over time I’ve seen consistent muscle gains and fat loss. I’ve also noticed that having more muscle mass has led to maintaining my progress even when I’ve “splurged” in my diet or fallen off track. Be patient and you will see results with this program.

Life changer/game changer

Evlo + high protein + walking changed my life. I had lived in NYC for 15 years, and was always doing boutique fitness classes (bootcamp/HIIT). I was in decently good shape, but then COVID hit. I lost all my muscle with at home work outs. I started running but still felt mushy. By 2022, I started some in person classes but didn’t have the same energy and missed the flexibility of in home workouts. I was prepping for my wedding and decided something needed to change.

When I started Evlo mid May 2022, I really did not think I was doing enough, but in 2 months my whole body started to change.

I have been religious about Evlo 4-5x per week since then. I was in the best shape of my life at my wedding at 34, and continued this through pregnancy and after (once the 6 weeks pp clearance came). I couldn’t be happier with a fitness program. To have a program this sustainable at this point in my life, that also makes me feel strong and lean, has been so rewarding. It really was not difficult for me to return to around pre baby weight, and my doctors couldn’t believe my strength in the delivery room.

Thank you Shannon, Peyton, and Jill for educating me and changing my body. You’ve taught me so much about fitness and strength that I wish I knew through my 20s. I will forever be grateful that there is a way to give back to myself, at home, for only 35 min per day.

Absolute best

Only strength program with right amount of volume for me and I love the fact you follow live video versus app with # of reps. I’ve seen great results and can’t sing praises enough - also love how has strength training Pilates class vibe. It’s smart, well programmed and totally worth it

Wonderful

This app changed my relationship to fitness in a wonderful way. Now my workout is not about burning calories, being smaller, or punishing myself. It’s time I spend taking care of myself. I’ve managed to be consistent with this for two years and have gotten great results. Thanks to the Evlo team for the very special program.
