Love the concept, app needs work

Loading is slow, notifications are unreliable

Great concept, dated app

Love the concept and will continue to use the app, but UX seems incredibly dated. Notifications and messages are my two biggest frustrations.

Not getting traction locally.

The Facebook communities seem to be far more active than this. The geographic location is not accurate.

Community is good, app is poor

The app is good when it is working, but about 15-20% of the time there are issues with log-in, receiving messages, etc.

Horrible app with a wonderful cause

Love that the app reduces landfill waste but the app itself is awful. Logging in takes forever, posting is buggy and I have to log in and out multiple times to be able to post because the post options don’t work. So many complaints about the functionality of the app. Wish they could fix it because it’s so frustrating to use.

like FB Marketplace, but not trash

I genuinely like this app, sometimes I have small things in my home that clutter my space but I don’t want to throw away because they could still do someone some good. This is perfect cause it lets me meet to give my stuff new life, to someone who will make good use of it (hardly anyone resells, I use this app all the time and I’ve never seen a thing of mine on fb marketplace, craigslist, etc.)

Wonderful concept and lovely community

The premise of the app is just on point. It is about giving products a second life which helps the planet, but it is also about creating a beautiful community. Giving and receiving gifts, and showing gratitude brings a feeling like no other. The app deserves a 5star, it is built by volunteers and donations and even though it might be buggy sometimes, t’s still a great app.

Awful

Delayed and jumbled messages. Takes forever to respond to input. Updated to the newest version and now it simply will not launch. At all. People are supposed to come pick up items from me and I can’t communicate with them.

Fun!

If I try to use the app on weekends, it goes haywire. It’s stressful bc you have people trying to pick up but you can’t message each other when the app overloads. However when the app works, like this Tuesday night, it’s so much fun to give things away and hear the delight. One woman just left me a holiday card in return.

Spinning on and on and on…

I have tried countless times to download and use this app. It is a never ending cycle of the same location tapping and “signing in.” Never once have I been able to see any items listed, I get the spinning wheel forever loading.
