Recent updates

Was such a good app but the recent updates have had a significant impact on its functionality. The list of stop times now bears little relation to where the bus is shown on the map, so you have to hedge your bets as to which one to believe. The map also doesn’t seem to update automatically now so you have to switch back and forth between screens to update it, and the buses jump around (sometimes moving back several stops!) for no apparent reason. I’m using the latest version of the app so hopefully there are some fixes to come.

Good Afternoon, We are working on resolving the issues as a matter of urgency and we hope to be able to submit a new app update to the App Store for review by the end of the day 24/01/2023. This should mean that the app update will be available to customers by the end of the week once it is through the app store review process.

New Update

The new update is very frustrating, when clicking on a bus that is coming to your chosen stop, previously it would show you where the bus is in relation to that stop. Now, it just shows your chosen stop so zoomed in that nothing else can be seen, you have to go on a trek to find the bus yourself.

January app update

I have been using this app for about a year for mobile tickets and live tracking of my bus and it’s been amazing and so helpful.
Just noticed there’s been an app update in the last 2 days and unfortunately the app now freezes when I go to track live buses, I zoom in to check the whereabouts of my bus and after 30 secs screen freezes which in turn doesn’t allow me to go to menu to get my paid for ticket so I have to reboot app.
I’m not sure if it’s app software glitch but please look into this as I’ve come to rely heavily on this app.

Fake information. I live in Marston, so there are not much buses. Usually when I check it says the bus is coming in few minutes, then it vanishes. Last Saturday I had to wait one hour for the bus from town to Marston even though the app said 10 minutes. My boyfriend works in Botley, I can't count the times he had to walk home after 11pm because the bus didn't come when the app clearly said it's on the way.

App accuses you of theft

Accidentally took a screenshot while locking my iPhone X and was accused of trying to steal tickets. The app also wildly manipulates the brightness of my phone’s screen without permission at random times. I would recommend that Apple carry out a thorough audit on this app, as it’s quite likely they are up to something nefarious. They do have a very poor reputation locally. No wonder they can’t find enough drivers to run their services, even scraping the bottom of the barrel as they so clearly are.

Hi there, the app does have a security feature in place preventing customers from taking a screenshot of the QR code or trying to access the same ticket on multiple devices. This is a standard feature. With regards to the brightness, I'm not sure how the app would be able to control this, however, I will report the matter to our developers.

Great Tracking: However Some Issues

I would like to start with, 8/10 things are great. Tracking mostly works well: occasionally it failed to update however fixes if I open/close the app. There seemed to be the odd occasion where a bus lost and regained tracking repeatedly, not sure about that one. Its really handy, especially in the cold!

However untracked busses. They are not good, because multiple times now I have come early (once even 10 min early) and no bus showed. It just went away from the timetable on the app :( It makes me uncomfortable now when the bus I need is untracked as to whether it even exists. Idk if it tells you a service is cancelled or not.

I was on the No5 from Sandy lane going to Oxford rail station this afternoon. The bus broke down on the way and the driver instructed me to take the number 10 bus. I got on the number 10 thinking that the last stop will be Oxford rail station only to find out that the last stop is at least a mile away which was the city centre. I asked the driver since I’m not familiar with the area and he stated that it was a 10min walk. I told him that I need to catch my train back to London or else I’ll have to buy another ticket. 10mg d into the walk I was nowhere near Oxford station and ended up missing my 16:38 train to London !! Very disappointing!!!

Not the most Reliable

I use this app to get to work. And for some reason buses just instantly disappear from the timeline. What’s the issue? How can something be so wrong and not worry about the consequences of people who have to rely of apps like this which essentially lie. Why is a bus scheduled to arrive at my stop in 6 minutes to then disappear as if it never existed and no bus shows until the next scheduled one probably 30 minutes after. Obviously programmed by people who don’t understand what they’re doing. If it’s tracked then why are buses not arriving? Do they just vanish? Or are you just too incompetent to do your job.

Great service

Great service shame the buses don’t run later anymore especially at weekends when people are out and about later than 11pm at night. If you go for a meal or event function you have to leave your guests to make sure you get the last bus or risk driving due to no service. Oxford City Council has introduced emissions free zones in the city however the night buses are no longer available.
