Poor design

I was expecting a better experience.

I won’t go into the challenges it took to get it operational with an account…

It logs me out when I force close the app. Even when I check remember me.
When I need to log in, it doesn’t allow iOS to get to passwords on keychain and use the passwords.
The subscription is $15 per month and yet over 90% of the screen are filled with ads for more services.
The app with subscription will let you start and lock the car, for example, but it won’t show you the current status…. Is it on? Are the doors locked?
Why can’t I open the windows from the app? Or roll up the windows?
And the latency between when I hit a button and when the action happens is embarrassing….
And this is not an EV so I don’t have to watch the fuel level like I do for an EV….

Now I am a bit biased because my other car is a Tesla….

Wagoneer remote start

The wagoneer itself has electrical issues constantly, drives fine but the electronics are always failing. Ive taken it to the dealer over 8 times in the first 2 years. Would not recommend buying a wagoneer. I’m not sure if it’s the app or the vehicle but the remote start works about half the time. I live in Phoenix so when I bought the wagoneer I made sure it was remote start capable. I pay the subscription to enable the feature and half time time when I remote start I get the spinning wheel and eventually it goes to an error message that it failed. So frustrating!

Would give 0 but I can’t

It says my vin number is wrong I have tried both the jeep and wagoneer apps multiple times and neither work

What am I paying for??!!

This app seems to never work consistently. For the past two months (in the dead of winter of course) it will never successfully start the car. I have tried to delete and reinstall the app, verified it’s on the latest version, logged out, logged back in…still doesn’t work. I would say that it probably works less than 50% of the time since I owned the car (bought April 22)

Wagoneer app and what it doesn’t do

This app is ok for locating your car. But using lights and horns though is annoying in a world where gps is so accurate. Why not guide the phone to the car?
Also being able to lock, unlock, and start your car is ok. But no being able to tell “IF” my car is locked, or unlocked from the app is stupid, and for a premium vehicle should be standard.
Also time based notification should be available if my Wagoneer is unlocked during set hours.
Being able to remote start, set the temperature control, turn on the heated / cooled seats for my family remotely should also be a function of the app but isn’t.
For such an expensive vehicle such features should be standard.

Intermittent

This app likes to go through phases where it will not work for two weeks, and it always seems to be when it is the coldest outside. Perhaps there is a correlation? Aggravating spending as much on a vehicle and then $15 a month on an app to not be able to start the Wagoneer when I’m at work and it’s -10 F outside.

Rip off for monthly fee!

Zero climate control.
Kia connect blows this crap out of the water and it’s free!

Drop 110k and a vehicle and this is the garbage you get. The demise of the big 3 can’t come fast enough.

Haven’t been able to use it yet

Doesn’t go past the first screen and when I asked the dealership they said the app isn’t working right now. Sucks to be the free limited trial and not working… obviously I wouldn’t pay for this.

Unstable

The app has sporadic glitches. Today I cannot access dealer information or my current Wagoneer services. On other occasions, features cease working and toggle to operational on their own without any action on the part of the user or update being performed.

Meh at best

Land Rover app blows this out if the water. This is a glorified key fob at best.
