  • DO NOT UPDATE

If you have a previous version, do not update. It basically breaks all the primary functionality like turning a whole group on, off, or picking a color...

    It's a buggy mess...
  • GARBAGE

I downloaded this app because it cannot connect with an Amazon echo, I was told when I called customer service there is a connectivity issue and it doesn’t currently work with these devices. Ok, I guess. So Bluetooth is my only option. However, if I turn off Bluetooth on my phone, and then turn it back on when I return home and attempt to use the app, it says my device (bulb) is offline. Then the only way I can get it working again is to uninstall and reinstall the app and go through the pairing and setup all over again. Ridiculous.

  • Cannot use with Alexa App

What is the point of having a smart bulb app if you can’t even use it with a smart hub such as Alexa. This needs to be updated because you can use the WiFi bulbs with Alexa but not these? Makes no sense. I want to be able to use my Alexa commands with this and use the feature of creating light patterns. I will be buying new smart bulbs to say the least.

  • Very poor app

I have 7 Sengled bulbs. After several hours of trying, I could only connect 1 through the app. The functionality of the app is so poor that there’s no place for customer support either. And no place to submit a bug or issue. Poor user experience.
  • Dark mode, PLEASE

    Thank you!
  • Smart bulb not as advertised

I bought a couple of Sengled smart bulbs from Amazon when it was on sale. It said Bluetooth connectivity and that it was Alexa compatible. I’ve never had a problem with connecting things or using a computer. After spending half hour trying to connect this, I had to call Amazon technical support and spent another hour and a half. The support representative had to call me back the next day because she had to do some research on how to connect this. To shorten the story, the lightbulb cannot be connected. I bought another brand light bulb and it connected 1,2,3.

  • Don’t waste your time or money on this product.

Unless you want to spend an hour or more of your life trying to get this light to connect to your Alexa app or Echo device, don’t waste your time or money. Neither could find the device even after installing this app. The light does work with this app as the controller, but that’s it. I got it for $.99 on Black Friday I’m glad I didn’t buy more at the regular price.

  • Won’t work with Alexa, though it was sold bundled with an Echo Dot

I wanted to be able use this from afar and with Alexa commands, but it refuses to work with Alexa. So I tried the Bluetooth and it does work, so if you don’t mind being within 33 feet or so and Bluetooth is good enough, then it works.

Edit: it worked once with the Bluetooth. Then when I tried it again it says it is offline, asks questions as to why it might be offline, but gives you no way to change anything. I can see why it essentially came for free with my echo dot. No one in their right mind would pay money for this thing.

  • Improve scheduling please

Just bought these lights in a pinch, hoping to have an easy way to simulate sunrise. Didn’t have any issues connecting to them but the scheduling experience is too mvp.
    - I want to be able to schedule a time to turn on, percentage and color
    - I want to have it set to intervals where it brightens up and changes color every five minutes
    - or do this all in one click and automate it
