  • Had the app for about 5 minutes

Downloaded the app to book a ticket however after I tried to creat an account everything froze. I then went to my Crome browser and then everything from on their too and showed an error message.

I’ve heard nothing but great things about the train and that whole experience, but the app and mobile web browsing needs some tlc.
  • Print a backup ticket. Make plans a few days ahead.

This app is unreliable. I commute on Brightline daily. The app fails to work about every other day. Save your ticket to apple wallet when you purchase a ticket. Also don’t rely on making plans the same day as travel. The app goes down for at least a few hours, and the longest outage I experienced was twenty four hours. Customer service at the train station also can’t help unless you have saved your ticket number somewhere.
  • Large bags

When I booked the trip they didn’t say anything about bags being a certain size when I get here late because my Uber driver took forever and missed the turn they tell me I have to go on the next train because it’s now too late to check the bag in that should be the biggest sign on the check out screen and horrible service when I tried talking to the lady at the front had a very snobby attitude
  • Frustrating to say the least

My husband and I both downloaded the app and were EXCITED at the opportunity to try this new train to Miami. We want to support public transportation but we were happy that the first ride was (supposedly) FREE. However, upon booking our reservations, we were each charged $44!!!! Even though the website and the app clearly say FIRST RIDE IS FREE. After several attempts to contact CUSTOMER SERVICE : via calling/ hung up on after 10 minutes!!! Then, via e-mail/ form letter response stating they had received my request but would be in touch later and then finally, via CHAT where the only solution was the give us FUTURE RIDE CREDITS!!!! What if we NEVER ride again???!!! It’s called FALSE ADVERTISING and it’s WRONG and now Brightline has BOTH credit card numbers and we are out $88 TOTAL!!!! Some FREE RIDE!!!! It leaves a terrible taste in our mouths
  • Buggy, glitchy should never have been released

The review says it all… American Express credit cards cannot be entered correctly and are not recognized… Travelers cannot be added effectively… You cannot import current tickets or itineraries that you have purchased… Passwords are not accepted… The list goes on and on and on but whoever was in charge of programming this app should bePromptly fired
  • Lack of enforcement of policies.

When deciding to utilize Brightline services it stipulates on the app along with signage everywhere regarding face mask use as mandatory. Despite this there is no enforcement of this and passengers just go rogue and do whatever they want with no oversight or enforcement. Employees simply walk by and don’t acknowledge the lack of compliance. This could be a great service, however, it is just a step up from the Trip-rail. Very disappointed.
  • Later trains on concert nights at the FTX arena

I travel from west palm beach . I wish they would add a later train going back on concert nights . Most concerts are over after 11pm and there’s no time to make the 11:48 train unless you miss the end of the concert . There should be a 12:30 train or later that way the train can be use going back to west Palm an
  • Terrible

Like most people have mentioned, their app and website is confusing, unresponsive and just constantly bugging. It changes your selection, It hides certain features like credits (so if you want to apply credit because they don’t give refunds, they are only available on the website). Overall, I can only they are working the fix the bugs.

It’s such a shame that their app is so incredibly bad, because once you’re at the stations, people are nice and accommodating and the services are fantastic.
  • The worst app

I honestly don’t think it’s possible to create a more frustrating app. I works about 40% of the time and you are currently unable to buy a ticket at the counter. Why did they take a perfectly fine app and ruin it???? I keep patiently waiting for an update to fix all the problems but it never seems to come. They also need to fix their servers because they crash multiple times a day at almost the exact same time. If you are in a hurry and need a train ticket now, good luck, because you will probably miss your train.
  • What happened to this app?

When it first released back when the train launched, the app worked just fine. Ever since they reopened the train last month, this app is almost the opposite of fine.

Went back to my app, and now all of my info has vanished. As one person stated, if you pick the seat next to the window on the seat map, it will instead place you near the middle. Should you try to edit your trip, it will place it onto the cart as if you were making another purchase. Thankfully it didn’t double charge me. I booked a trip during a BOGO offer, and never got my free trip. Spoke to Customer Service, and was going to give me credit, which I’ve yet to receive. This is a list of some of the issues that I’ve been facing since the app returned.

Hmm, I had to remake my Brightline account when the app reopened here. That seemed strange as I never deleted it. When the app does work, it was decent. I’m giving only the Brightline app 3 out of 5 stars. The train itself is amazing!
