The makings of a great App ! A lot of products are not recognized though . Wish it would suggest more Costco alternatives as Bobby does in real life ! Can’t wait until this app is up and running like Yuka because this app will definitely become my number one
“Thumbs Down”
I liked Bobby and the nutritional information he provides. However, as I continue to follow him loosely, it seems he’s become a constant advertisement and endorser. This app is a good reference, and I use it every now and then. But so very few things are “Bobby Approved”, you end up feeling like a terrible person by the end of your shopping trip. I have also found conflicting information, where the same product was both “approved” AND “not approved”! Not everyone can afford the expensive products he’s pushing, and you’re made to feel guilty, especially as a parent, for not being able to provide the very select few things he does “approve of”. What he says makes sense, and it’s good information, but not always sustainable for middle working class families. It feels like he is shaming at times for those of us who can’t afford to keep up with the foods he says are good. Getting a constant “thumbs down” can be super discouraging.

Best app ever … super helpful
I would like to say thanks to bobby to gives us the better option to be healthy and more but I should mention that I live in Toronto Canada when ever I put items to review I don’t get any answers back if you would have any tips for me at this point just let me know please I will be more happy to fallow… thanks again your bobby app is the best … and I appreciate your hard work …

I had to try it to believe it!
I was introduced to this by two of my girlfriends. I thought it was a funky, hoaxey kind of thing.
I downloaded the app for curiosity and did some research on Bobby. It was to my surprise that I needed to pick healthier foods and I am understanding how to read the labels.
I would highly recommend this app just so you can go for a better choice of the foods you’re picking out at the stores.
I love the fact that there’s all those videos and he not only goes to grocery stores. He goes to HomeGoods TJ Maxx, all of those places. If he does not have it on his app, you can take a picture of it with the ingredients and he can go over it and add it.
I used to hate reading labels, but now I find it very interesting!!!!! Besides addicting!!!!!!

Not sure why its so highly rated
This seems to mostly be promoting brands he’s invested in. The search doesnt work right. I tried scanning an item and it said bobby approved. Then when searching the same item it didnt show up on the list. And it was a mixed bag on whether or not items from that brand were approved or not. So i look at them closer. The ones approved highlight ingredients that are bad even though it says approved… then others that are not approved highlight the same exact ingredients. No more and no less than the other that was approved. So why was it approved with one product and not the other? It took me only a moment with this app to figure that out i cant figure why this app would otherwise be so highly rated unless people arent bothering to look into why these items are not approved. Theyre just blindly trusting it. You should never do that.

I take Bobby with me shopping all the time
If it’s not Bobby approved it doesn’t come home with me. People make fun of me because I always tell everyone…I use this brand or that brand because it’s Bobby approved. I love my app. I don’t have time to read all the ingredients and I spread the good word about Bobby all the time. At the gym at Costco, Aldi, Publix, Walmart. I’ve turned so many people on to Bobby approved and the app, his recipes. I am so grateful for the app and his shopping videos. I couldn’t live without them. Love that his whole family is engaged. If everyone would follow him we wouldn’t have all the diseases and overweight, sick people in the US. Europe laughs at us and what we allow to be added to our foods. The app and following Bobby is a must have and do if you want to be healthy.
