  • First blocker app that’s worked for me

I’ve tried dozens of apps for mitigating app usage and it’s the first one that has worked for me. Previous apps took two taps to get into the app and quickly became an automatic habit instead of stopping me. The way ClearSpace slows you down and shows you how many times you’ve used the app vs your goal usage really puts into perspective “do I need to use this” when I can see what I told myself what I wanted to do. this has really cut down on using social media while standing in a line or going to the bathroom. I choose to use it instead of compulsively.

(Also it’s kinda nice opening an app to more notifications than usual since I’ve been gone from it longer.)

  • UI

The white backgrounds and bright green texts make it extremely hard to read
  • A Follow Up

After a 3-4 month hiatus, I’m back. ClearSpace is genuinely the best way I can manage my social media usage day-to-day. Treat your brain like the monkey that it is, get clear space. Free your day.
  • Be Present

ClearSpace helps me use my phone intentionally. Instead of wasting time scrolling on apps, I can now spend time interacting with those around me.
  • Great app just one missing thing

This app has helped me halve my screen time, which is great. The only thing missing is the ability to choose any tracked app rather than just the ones in the list.
  • Helpful!!

The first couple days I used ClearSpace I found it a bit annoying (who wants to be stopped when you’re trying to get into an app?) but after that it has truly helped me lose my bad habit of mindless scrolling. Now I take the “attempts to open” counter as a challenge and try to keep that number as low as I can!

  • So helpful!

This app is really helping me be more mindful about how I spend time on my phone and helping to limit mindless scrolling! Great interface and easy to use.
  • Really helpful app

Clearspace helped me to quit compulsively checking Reddit—and was effective in under a week. It’s a key app for anyone looking to have better focus, reduce screentime, or reduce usage of any individual app. Invest the time in setting it up—you won’t be disappointed.
  • A powerful ally to will power

ClearSpace has encouraged me to use social media in a healthier way. The interception eliminates all subconscious social media usage - a crucial first step to giving your will power a fighting chance against software designed to be dangerously attractive to the human brain!
