  • This app needs more exercises than just breathing

The breath is good but variety of quotes and activities would be great.

Edit* the challenges are great but having an adjustable length would be great. I love the steps for screen time but it only lasts 3 days
  • VERY Underwhelming

I saw this online and thought it would be a good option, another app Opal is very expensive so I thought this might be better with the push up incentive. Later to find out the push up option isn’t even in the free plan, also with the free plan you can only restrict one app. I think a would to describe it would be sub par

  • Good app but…

Good app but I would have loved to be able to perform some workout before entering the app instead of breathing.
  • Great app!!

I reallyyy love this app and it’s definitely helped with my screen time. However, at the end of the sessions, it gives you a 1 minute warning BUT ITS NEVER ONE MINUTE it’s like 10 seconds at best. Like it will close out of the app while the notification is still on the screen. In theory, the one minute is a good reminder to stop and start closing out but it just leaves me curious to see what the end of my video is and makes me want to use more time just to see the end and I get sucked back in. It’s very frustrating but otherwise the app has really helped and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who needs help with screen time, I feel like the set sessions rlly help.

  • So good

honestly so good it has made me NOT want to go on titkok which is crazy. I have stayed off my phone sm cause of this app. And I’m not one to write a review usually but this app is so good
  • Doesn’t work

Light blue tracked app button doesn’t let me select any options. Also does not have enough supported options.
  • A helpful app with a very annoying quirk

I love this app concept. It has excellent features, a great interface, and taking a pause before opening apps has made me much more mindful and has reduced my use of addictive apps by a lot.

My one main issue is that multiple times a day since I’ve started to use the app, instead of the usual deep breath the app asks me for something app-related, like feedback or a review. I find this extremely annoying. Instead of a mindful moment, it’s just making me interact with another (this) app. I hate this so much and it is the single reason I cancelled my subscription. I hope the developers will stop replacing the mindful moments and ask for their feedback or reviews or whatever in another way.

  • Very helpful!

I’m really enjoying the app! It definitely forces you to think more about how you’re using your time and that has led to some positive changes in my phone usage. However it is still fairly easy to just keep giving yourself more time which is why I appreciate the strict mode feature.

To whoever on the ClearSpace team is reading this, I would very much appreciate the ability to selectively apply strict mode to individual apps rather than all of them at once. I have 5 apps identified to restrict, but often when using strict mode I only really want or need to have 1 or 2 locked. I’ve been able to get around this with scheduling blocks, but it’s pretty inconvenient and not the best user experience.

Overall though the app has been incredibly useful

  • Very effective

Super effective and helped me reduce my time on social media immediately after downloading the app
  • Maybe

So, the truth is this. I haven’t bought the app yet because I realize two flaws that I know would be my downfall. I absolutely love the strict mode and I know that’s what I’d be in this for. This would be a great way of blocking apps & not having access. But because I know that I can just bypass this with simply deleting ClearSpace and redownloading it or the fact that I can’t block ClearSpace itself leaves me concerned. My addiction isn’t controlled very easily. And when it comes to the second option that is not being able to block ClearSpace from ClearSpace, I can’t ensure that I won’t be able to make changes. I tested this with the free version when it gave me the option to switch app while in strict mode (this may not possibly be an issue if I buy it). So these are just my concerns for any others in an honest review. Otherwise this app looks very promising & I’d recommend it.
