Love the classes, but the app needs some work to help you find them.

I love barre3 classes, and the best part about this app is that I can do them at home with this app. There are so many classes you can search for and there is something for everyone. The production and sound is good.

Pros:
- Variety of classes at different lengths
- many classes to choose from
- production of classes and modifications are great
- can chrome cast

Cons:
- the music is terrible compared to in person classes.
- search functionality is non existent. Would love to see filters for length of class, instructor, focus, props.
- app does not save which classes you did like the website.

Overall I’m still glad I got the year subscription but I do wish the app functionality is better.

Downloading not a thing anymore

I only had the app so I could download the workouts to do while I was gone out of service and now that doesn’t seem to be an option anymore only the favorite.

Doesn’t open half the time

This ap has a hard time Opening when all others seem to work just fine. It gives you the option to download workouts but you aren’t able to access them offline.

It’s just not barre

The workout focus just isn’t barre, it’s basically Pilates. I first discovered barre3 many years ago and still have the dvd sets. THOSE are barre, not what it available now.

The search feature could also use enhancement. It would be especially helpful if you could filter for no floor work for those with injury or limitations. Again though if it was more barre focused it would be less difficult to find workouts with no floor exercise.

Needs a LOT of Work

The NEVER allows me to login with the fingerprint option even though I have told it to use it several times. I end up having to click 3 login buttons every time I use the app because it also does not keep me logged in.

Then the app takes at least 30 seconds to load. My iPad is 1 year old and I have 1 gig symmetric data so I know its not my internet connection.

Searching for workouts in the app is not as good as the website. Every time you find a workout and select it, it then brings you into a collection of workouts where you have to locate the workout that you wanted again.

Response from developer

Hi RedB8S4, Thanks for your feedback and for being a barre3 subscriber! 1. Can you send onlinesupport@barre3.com which iPad device + OS you are on so we can troubleshoot this further with our tech team? You can also opt out of using your fingerprint or facial recognition after you log in. 2. We are working on this feature with our tech team! We agree that it would be helpful to see all the workouts you've already completed. For now, you can view all the workouts you've completed under "Recently Watched" in "My List". 3. If you have any other issues or questions with the app, please reach out to our Customer Support team at onlinesupport@barre3.com. Best, The barre3 Team

Face ID doesn’t work

The instructors are amazing and barre3 rocks but this app is very glitchy and Face ID never works.

Great app! -updated-

Update:
After using this for several months, I’m changing my rating from 5 (excellent) to 3 (it works) stars.
There’s no way to see the workouts you’ve completed or track (I can’t remember what I ate for breakfast, let alone if I worked out on Monday and which one I did). I feel like my account should sync across all devices and platforms (web v. mobile). Also the titles are hard to see and then when clicked upon - it takes you to the collection then you have to find it all over again.
I see that google cast was added so thanks for that!

Original post:
I like that it has a daily workout so you don’t have to think about what workout to do that day. But if you don’t want to do that, you can search the extensive database. Please add ability to google cast!

Happy, hard to read title

I’m so happy barre3 made this app. My one issue is that when I search the full titles of classes don’t show up on my iPhone. Maybe it’s screen size, but it means I need to do more work to figure out the class names. Also would love if you could have more than one fav list, like name one for morning and evening.

Great app

Would love to be able to see my workout history or track progress better. Also don’t like having to log in with email and Face ID to use every time.

Need to fix the log in

I love Barre 3! I just hate having to log in after every workout. You can’t even add a stretching segment on after your workout without having to log in or favorite the workout you just finished without it👎🏻
