Crashes on iOS

This app used to be very useful for seeing when the next Coaster train was coming with the trip planner tab but for the last 6 months or so it crashes whenever I hit search, even after redownloading the app. I have to dig through the pdf schedules online now for the next train which is a bummer.

Trip Planner Glitch

Once you have resolved this issue it will be perfect again. But I knocked 2 whole stars off because other than scanning my ticket, it’s the only other function I use for my commute. When it functioned it was really good at letting us know when trolleys were running late too. Please fix asap.

I like the app, but…

I found the app useful but the ‘trip planner’ doesn’t work. I’ve tried several times and the app takes me to my Home Screen. I ended up using the San Diego MTS trip planner instead. Maybe it’s my phone, or maybe the app, but it doesn’t work. If you’re not a local, this feature is essential.

Keeps crashing

This was the best app. Since the last iPhone update I can’t use the app trip planner. When I click on the search bar the app shuts off. I’ve tried reinstalling the app. It did not help.

I understand that a phone update can be a challenge, but this app is an absolute necessity for some of us. The trolley lines would do so much better if their tech was reliable. Besides the inconvenience to customers, these problems with the app really make the system look bad. It discourages new customers.
PLEASE fix the app!!

the best app

this app is truly amazing when you are around all san diego you can download it and if you are a youth it’s totally free for you ! if you like traveling around all San Diego or if your a skater and likes to go to all the different skate parks . there’s your transportation with just a single scan !!

Improve the app please

The app it’s good but a few weeks ago I’m not able to check a trip automatically take out of the app and really helps me to check my trips

Rubbish

I came from England , can’t add my card as it doesn’t accept my zip code , what a joke

App crashing?

Pronto is super helpful and really easy to use but after the IOS 16 update, it started crashing. I know it’s not the app developers fault but it’s been months and they still haven’t done anything about. Gross negligence at its finest. If it doesn’t start working I’ll stop using.

Visiting San Diego

I was visiting SD for the month of September without a car! Female traveling alone and needed transportation. I cannot say enough good things about your MTS service!!!! I purchased a month long pass and was able to get any and everywhere in SD! However I could not have done it without the help of all your outstanding bus drivers helping me along the way, figuring out how to get me to from point A to B! Each one that I would ask a question to was always very helpful and knowledgeable! My main route was always starting out on the #11 going both ways either towards SDSU and connecting to the #2 or heading towards downtown to connect to the #10 , 7! Can’t forget about the trolley or the light rail as I like to call it! Having the app made everything easier! The feature of the trip planner is the best ever! Your bus drivers are very hard working individuals! I was amazed at all they have to do! They have to be physically in shape , the stress of it all! I love they get to take a break at certain times! The City of San Diego should be very proud of your public transportation services! I am from Kansas City, MO…. I have not been on a public transportation service since I was in high school but know your city should be proud of the type of service you provide! Thank you for helping me see your big beautiful city! !!!!!

Trip planning crashes and difficult to use

When I try to plan a trip for a time in the future, the app crashes as soon as I press search. The trip planning is not very user friendly in my opinion. Major transit hubs should appear at the top of searches rather buried in a list of other stops that contain the keyword, often a city or street name. There should also be a selection of transit map images native to the app that can be accessed when internet connection isn’t available.
