  • With a few improvements it would be amazing

Love it. I live in the outskirts of a large city (Bortle 6) and have been able to capture some beautiful night sky images. A few things I wish the app had: remote capture or delayed start capture so you don’t shake camera with the initial press; zoom feature; a little quicker capture with the same results- 3 minutes is just long enough that brighter stars and planets are blurry due to their movement across the sky

  • Great app but could have been better.

It’s a really great app except there’s no way to remove the nocturne watermark from the final photo.

  • Finally an App for astrophotographers

Blow away by this app, the stars are pin point accurate!

I would gladly pay for this app and am shocked it’s free!

I would love to see the option to take Apple ProRAW or RAW images to help post editing and to capture more foreground detail.

Also the ability to manually focus would be very beneficial.

But my hats off to the developer, I look forward to see what they bring to this app in the future!

  • Simple, needs RAW

Like the simplicity of this app. Set it and forget it, (for 3 minutes). Would love to see RAW or ProRaw for this, that would make it 5 stars. Would be willing to pay to have this, lens selection, and the watermark removed. I’ll be watching. Good work team!

  • Awesome app for the night sky

I was told about this app from a friend that worked on the beta. After downloading the first I took a few photos of Orion and was Impressed and I only have an iPhone SE 1sts Gen. I since was able to get someone to put it on the iPhone 13 Pro and now I need to upgrade my iPhone. This app is awesome!

  • Create memories

Great App, I used it during an outdoor concert to capture the sky and remember that day vividly. I ended up loving the results and created a great memory

  • Promising

The app certainly captures stars which are not easily seen. As an eVscope user, I appreciate the technology. One problem - the app freezes after saving a photo. I have to force quit and reopen to take another shot.

  • Try it!

    À essayer!
  • It’s a start

A few things I noticed right away. There is no provision for a remote control. That means my first tap on the screen shakes the phone while it is taking the first image. Perhaps more than just the first, depending on the stability of your tripod. In addition, with the phone tilted toward the sky, that start button is hard to get to. A time delayed start might be the answer to all of this. My bluetooth remote only works with the iPhone camera app, not with Nocturne. In addition, I am unable to take advantage of the 0.5x and 2x zoom options the camera app on my 11 Pro allows. It would be nice to be able to change the zoom level even a limited amount. I could not scroll to the bottom of the Tip screen. I had to reduce my font size to read it, then resume my previous setting. A rookie programming mistake, thinking everyone’s screen size and font are the same as yours. They should have made it a scrolling window. Other than those little issues the Nocturne app seems it might do what it promises, which is give you a nice starry landscape shot from a dark sky area. Unfortunately, all this app did is remind me that I live under a light dome. Not their fault.
